President
Furniture Home Stores

Pat is currently retired and living in Placentia, California. He earned a degree in Business Administration in Economics from The Ohio State University and immediately started out in the retail lumber business, becoming a buyer for the largest lumber company in the world at the age of 22. After a career spanning many years at several different companies in the home improvement and furniture business, he ultimately started his own company with a small group of partners. This provided the opportunity to create a business from scratch and see it grow to over $20 million in sales in the first three years of operation.

He served as President of Furniture Home Stores of Southern California, Inc., during this phenomenal growth. However, during this same period of exciting business growth,   Pat suffered a very serious bout with cancer that required extensive surgery and rehabilitation.

As a cancer survivor who overcame an especially difficult diagnosis, he credits his unwavering faith in God and the support and prayers of family and friends in carrying him through that incredible challenge. As a result of his experience, Pat has worked extensively with the City of Hope in fund raising efforts. The City of Hope is a comprehensive cancer center in Los Angeles that is recognized for its innovative research and therapies in fighting cancer.
