Snapshot of Success!
Annette Savko Lexis '70 Owner Security Unlimited
Annette attended Capital University and Otterbein College where she earned degrees in Marketing, Retail and Art. After college she moved to Las Vegas for the summer and decided to make it her home. In 1980, Annette felt she needed a challenge in her life so she entered the special events business. She purchased the only ushering company in town which employed ushers, ticket takers, traffic controllers, and bodyguards for special events, conventions, boxing events and concerts. In 1989, Annette expanded the business by launching Security Unlimited, Inc. Annette later expanded her business to include construction sites as well as apartment buildings and shopping centers. She credits her father for being a big influence on her because he had a wonderful sense of business. Annette feels that accomplishments are not necessarily limited to one's fields of endeavor in college, but can evolve as interests expand through different business associates and friends. Annette resides in Las Vegas and is very proud of her 3 children; Chad (Attorney), Chris (Real Estate & Development), and Annette (Marketing & Advertising). |
