Last Friday, the Jewelry, Digital Photography, and a few Ceramics students went on a field trip to the annual Winterfair, which is a holiday art show with pieces made from various media, such as photography,ceramics, metals, fiber, and glass. Students spent time looking at handmade art and talking to the artists about their work. On Monday night, students from the St. Vincent DePaul Club attended the annual Bishop's Mass to honor and give thanks to all Diocesan St. Vincent DePaul volunteers. The Mass was followed by a dinner in the Undercroft of St. Joseph's Cathedral. Students pictured at left: Rachel Lartey, Emily Piatt, Katie Julian, Danielle O'Brien, Kara Hoying, and Eunice Agyapong. Mrs. O'Brien, Mrs. Piatt and Mrs. Kuhn accompanied the students. 
Congratulations to the fall athletes who were recently named All-Ohio. Boys Basketball Helps Canned Food Drive
Date: TONIGHT, December 9
Time: 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Where: Gymnasium
Cost: Adults are able to donate 10 cans (for our canned food drive) in lieu of the price of admission. To date, we have collected 21,000 food items for St. Stephen's Community House.
The Academy Championships Date: December 10
Time: 12 p.m.
Where: Little Theatre
SFDHS 2001 alum and World Champion Irish Dancer, Byron Tuttle, will bring dancers from his dance school to the Little Theatre for the 'The Academy Championships' (Class Competition). There is no admission, and this event is open to all. Byron (Lord of the Dance and Michael Flatley's "Feet of Flames" star), Edward Searle (co-owner of the dance school, a
World Champion and Riverdance star) and their guest Jennifer Ryan (Riverdance star) will perform as well.
