Fill That Bus! Once again, the DeSales community is coming together for our annual canned food drive, benefiting St. Stevens Community House. The drive takes place Tuesday, November 29th-Friday, November 2nd. Canned goods can be dropped off in the main office between 7:30am-3:30pm. Items may be left next to the doors on the north side of the building outside of those hours. Our neighbors at St. Matthias are assisting with the drive and canned goods may be turned in there during the same time. Thank you for helping us reach our goal of 30,000 cans!

2011-2012 Annual Fund
"Investing in a Champion" Annual Fund Campaign is underway for this year. In November, you received your Annual Fund letter in the mail. The school is dependent upon a strong partnership with its alumni, parents, faculty, staff, parents of alumni, and friends. The Annual Fund is one of the school's most essential resources because it supports every student. Tuition does not cover the full cost of a DeSales education. Gifts to the Annual Fund create an essential bridge between tuition revenue and the actual cost of a DeSales education. Your gift to the annual fund helps ensure that our students and future students can experience a St. Francis DeSales High School education and share in the SFDHS dream. Kroger Community Rewards Program
SFDHS is a member of the Kroger Community Rewards Program.
The program is a very easy way to help earn financial rewards for the school. If you currently participate in the Kroger Community Rewards Program for SFDHS, you must re-enroll each year to continue earning awards for the school. How? Visit www.Krogercommunityrewards.com to update your Kroger Plus card. You will be asked to enter the Kroger NPO number assigned for our school; the number is 80191. If you have not yet signed up to participate, please do so by going to the same above address to register your Kroger Plus Card. The school earns a percentage of all your grocery purchases at Kroger. "3 Murders and it's Only Monday" Bring the family and watch the DeSales Drama Department perform "3 Murders and it's Only Monday." Performances will be held Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20. Show times are 7:00pm both evenings. Tickets are $8 and are available beginning November 14 during all lunch periods, (10:20am-12:40pm) and at the door. All tickets are reserved seating. Little Theatre Dedication
On Saturday, November 19th, immediately following the Fall Drama Production, Principal Garrick will honor Mrs. Jackie Messerschmitt by renaming the DeSales Little Theatre after her. Jackie worked at DeSales as a Teacher, Assistant Principal and Head Theater Director for 27 years before retiring last spring. A wine and cheese reception will be held at the school beginning at 6pm, prior to the start of the show. All are invited. Senior Warren Ball is a finalist for the Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year. The campaign honors the best high school football players in the state. Fans can vote online for the Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year, starting at midnight on Monday, November 14 and ending on Sunday, November 27.
