Christmas Pageant Rehearsals
St. Luke's Annual Christmas Pageant will be held on Dec. 18th at 4 p.m., followed by the Barber's Soup Dinner, Cookie Exchange and Caroling. The next pageant rehearsal is Dec. 10th from 9 AM - 11 AM. Consider confirmation. Anyone interested in reaffirming their baptismal vows and making a mature commitment to the Episcopal Church can send their name to me at momscheyer@gmail.com. Preliminary mailings about confirmation will go out this month and our first meeting will be on Sunday, January 8th.

Saint Luke's Giving Tree
 Outstanding St. Luke's!!! All of the tags are gone from our Giving Tree and it shows the wonderful heart of our church - you the parishioners! Please remember to bring your items back to the church anytime between now and noon on Saturday, December 10th along with the ornament tags you chose. You may leave your items under the tree in the Narthex. Thank you from all of us at the Outreach Committee.

Wreaths Across America- Sat. Dec. 10th
On Saturday, December 10th at Noon, EST, thousands of volunteers across America and beyond will give the gift of their time in laying wreaths at Veteran's gravesites. Please consider joining us in this respectful and memorable event. Volunteers are asked to help lay 360 wreaths at Cudworth Veteran's Cemetery. Your time will help spread the mission of Remember, Honor, Teach. For more information, please visit www.wreathsacrossamerica.org. Donations are also being accepted for sponsoring a wreath. |

Peace and Joy- Choral Arts Concert
Coming Soon! "Peace and Joy"- A concert of the Holiday Season by the Choral Art Society of the South Shore. 4 PM Sunday, December 11, 2011 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Tickets are $20 ($15 for Seniors and Students).

Finance Committee Report
The Finance Committee requested that it be brought to the attention of the parish that as of November 30, 2011 there is an outstanding balance of unpaid 2010 pledges of $26,409.00. Yes, that is correct, 2010 unpaid pledge balance is $26,409.00.

Free Christmas Dinner
Church Hill Methodist in Norwell will be offering free Christmas dinners to anyone and everyone who is in want of Christmas company or cheer. The church is located at 11 Church Street, Norwell Church, (at the corner of Church and River Streets) 781-826-4763
Please note that due to Christmas falling on the 4th Sunday, St. Luke's will not be sponsoring a Community dinner this month. See you in January for Chicken Divan.
