Saint Luke's Giving Tree
We discussed with local shelters ways to provide meaningful giving this year. We are supporting a local shelter by providing new pillows, twin blankets and sheets for the residents. Not only will they enjoy something of their own, they are able to take these items with them when they move to a more permanent home. These items are in chronic shortage and provide not only comfort but some basic dignity.
There are a few tags remaining. Please remember to log on the sign out sheet any tags that you remove. And be sure to include your tag when you return the unwrapped items by Saturday, December 10th by noon. Please contact Maureen Keys for more information.

Thank You for making Taste of Scituate 2011 a Great Success!!!
Taste of Scituate was an outstanding success due to the wonderful involvement from our many supporters like you and the participation of our community. Thanks for giving your Time, Talent and Treasure.
"Thanks" to the 50 sellers who sold 770 tickets for the 31-Day Giveaway; "Thanks" to the 500 buyers of those tickets; "Thanks" to the 43 sponsors who donated $2160 in prizes; "Thanks" to the 200 guests who attended the Finale Gala. And most of all, "Thanks" to the 21 volunteers who made it all happen and help raise $8300.
Please give your thanks to our volunteers when you see them: Debbie Carleton, Alice Dana, Alissa Delpico, Tracy Dieselman, Chris Dietz, Susanna Dietz, Christian Hudanich, Christine Hudanich, Lillian Hudanich, Nicholas Hudanich, Pat Jones, Ed Karsch, Pat Karsch, Maureen Keys, Carsten Otte, Jeanie Piers, Erica Pollard, Keith Pollard, Joan Powers, Steve Rafferty, and Rev. Grant Barber.
In addition to raising funds, we were also able to reach out to many people outside of our church. In addition to the great comments from Saint Luke's parishioners, I have received many compliments from people outside of Saint Luke's who had a great time participating in the 31-Day Giveaway and attending our Finale Gala. The food was delicious, the music festive, and the fellowship fulfilling.
Once again, thank you for your support!
John Hudanich
Director, Taste of Scituate
