Outreach Bake Sale- Sun., Nov. 20
Looking for something sweet to start off the holiday season? Come to the Youth Outreach Bake Sale during Coffee Hour. The children will be selling goodies to help raise money to buy shores for the Soles for Souls foundation. We have a goal of raising $5000 for 5000 pairs of shoes, so we need to sell a lot of cookies, brownies and other goodies. Parents of all children in the Sunday School program are asked to donate nut-free baked goods. Please note that this is one of only 2 outreach bake sales this year!

Saint Luke's Giving Tree
We discussed with local shelters ways to provide meaningful giving this year. We are supporting a local shelter by providing new pillows, twin blankets and sheets for the residents. Not only will they enjoy something of their own, they are able to take these items with them when they move to a more permanent home. These items are in chronic shortage and provide not only comfort but some basic dignity.
You may also choose to share a favorite Christmas memory by buying a book to send along with the gifts. Please help support this cause by choosing tags from the Giving Tree in the Narthex and signing them out. Sheets should be at least 200 count. All new wrapped or unwrapped items should be returned to the church by Saturday, December 10th by noon. Be sure to include your tags with the items. Please contact Maureen Keys for more information.
