Harvest Fair Update
One Week and a few days.....
Silent Auction items must be brought to the church this Sunday (10/30) by noon. No donations will be accepted after that date and time. Please contact Christine Hudanich at 781-987-1620.
Any items for the Book, Children's books and toys, White Elephant, Sewing, Crafts and the Country Store Tables can be dropped off anytime in the Narthex. Please be sure to mark which area they are for and any information as to a suggested price, etc.that we may need. Baskets that have been filled can be left in the office. Cheryl O'Grady certainly could use your help in the next week and a half. Consider how you can share your gifts by baking for the Bake Table and the Cookie Shop. Both of these areas are traditionally hot spots for very good sales - as long as we have plenty to sell. Please be sure to sign up to help in an area that could your your assistance .. Before .. During .. or After .. the fair. By signing up in advance I am able to have all the time shifts covered during the fair. (Less stress for the table chair people). With everyone's help the Fair will be a wonderful success. Thank you in advance, Susanna Dietz and Maureen Keys

Youth Outreach Event- Not Just for Youth
Scavenger Hunt- Sunday, October 30th, 12 - 3 PM
As part of their on-going effort to support the Scituate Food Pantry our 3rd-6th graders will participate in our 4th Annual SFP Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, Oct. 30th from 12:00 noon- 3:00pm. The children will set out in teams from The Scituate Food Pantry located at the Masonic Temple on Country Way and collect specific food items. Once all their items are collected they will meet back at the SSF to organize the food, fill the shelves and have a snack. Wondering where they will collect the food? From you, we hope. Each group will have a list of parishioners who have agreed to be a "pick-up" location. Only one team will be sent your way. Lists of items they are looking for are in the Narthex. We had a lot of fun the last 3 years and gathered an amazing amount of food. This requires a lot of organization and we hope you will participate.
Sign ups to participate in the hunt, be a driver/chaperone or to be a pick up location for food donations can be emailed to Stacey Stratton at stacey762@gmail.com or by calling Stacey at 781-733-0142. Thank you!
