Berry Bonanza Thank You
Thanks to the more than 40 members of St. Luke's who volunteered to donate baked goods, organized and priced incoming yard sale sellables, set-up the day before the sale, slept over at St. Luke's to watch over our tables and sellables, staffed tables on sale day, and cleaned up ater the sale! Thanks also to the many St Luke's members and friends who donated hundreds of items to sell at the Berry Bonanza! We raised funds to support the important work of St. Luke's and invited many visitors into our Church yard to enjoy our sale and experience our fellowship on their way to Heritage Days Weekend festivities.
~ Suzanne Otte, 2011 Berry Bonanza Yard Sale Coordinator

Farmstand
What a great summer for the garden! If you "adopted" a plant from St. Luke's, you might want to celebrate your harvest by sharing or swapping your bounty at our Farmstand Table in the narthex. Zucchini, eggplant, summer squash, beets, herbs, cucumbers, beans, tomatoes- all delicious, all nutritious, all appreciated!

SHS Drama Club Car Wash- Sat, Aug. 13th
The Scituate High School Thespian Society will host a car wash at St. Luke's Episcopal Church this Saturday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm to raise money to support upcoming theatrical performances at Scituate High. Each year, the high school drama club offers two main projects aimed at helping students gain experience and expertise in acting, singing, dancing, stage crew and design. One is a musical at the school and the other is a regional high school theatre competition where students can watch performances from other drama clubs in Massachusetts. For the upcoming 2011 - 2012 school year, students from the drama club will be looking at ways to raise money to help pay for costumes, set design and other costs associated with productions. For more information please contact Bridget Wood at 781-545-9587.
