Sunday School Teachers
St. Luke's Youth Outreach

The future of St. Luke's is in our children.  Every fall, families sign up their children for Christian Education, or Sunday School.   These children attend classes to learn more about being an Episcopalian, more about the Bible, and more about being a good Christian.

But they can't learn these things without teachers.  And right now, we only have a handful of teachers for possibly more than 60 children.

Our curriculum is very easy to follow, and both Joy and Stacey would be happy to sit down with you to go over the lessons, and to answer any questions you may have.

Anyone is welcome to teach.  You do not need to be a parent to teach.   Many of our teachers find that it fills them spiritually; that it helps them see answers to their own questions, and that it also makes them feel good to make a difference in a child's life.

Please contact Joy Catron or Stacey Stratton if you would like more information about becoming a Sunday School teacher.

Joy - joymcatron@hotmail.com and Stacey - stacey762@gmail.com  Thank you!

Harvest Fair- November 5th
Harvest Pumpkins
As the summer is in full swing it is hard to think about the Fall ... but some of us need to start getting ready for the Harvest Fair.

The Fair will be on November 5th this year.  Please try to give it a little bit of thought.   Is there something that might be of interest for the Silent Auction - a service you could provide, tickets to an event, gift certificate to an area restaurant, a get-a-way spot for a couple of days??  There are all sorts of things that would be very appropriate for the Fair go'ers.
After doing your best to find things for the Yard Sale on the 6th of August - while you're in the mood - maybe you might find something for the White Elephant Table, too.

You will be hearing more of the needs for this year in the coming weeks and months.  So get ready for another terrific Fair.

If you see or think of any ideas or suggestion for the Fair please get in touch with Maureen Keys (781-545-1348) or Susanna Dietz (781-545-6109).
