Some Great News!
The search for a Youth Minister is underway. We've received a number of interesting resumes and will be conducting interviews in the next few weeks.
Jam Bee, Sat., July 16th, 9 am - 12 noon

Join us as we learn the secrets of great jam making. Learn the difference between a jam, jelly and a chutney. We will be making jam to take home and some for the Berry Bonanza and Harvest Fair. We will be working with strawberries, rhubarb and blueberries.

Sampling the World #2- Chinatown

Join us on Saturday, July 23rd for a tasteful Chinatown Excursion led by Xuemei Cao Yang. We will be departing from St. Luke's at 10:30 AM.  All are welcome - see the sign up sheet in the narthex.
Common Cathedral: July 24th
St. Luke's volunteers will provide and serve the lunch meal to the homeless on Boston Common. Food prep (sandwiches and dessert) will take place at St. Luke's on Saturday the 23rd at 9 AM. Please see the sign up sheets in the narthex or contact Grant for more information on other ways to help.
Community Dinner: Sunday, July 24th

We are reinstituting our summer picnic theme and will host a  salad buffet with choices of pasta, potato or garden salads with sides of ham. Of course we will be offering lemonade and lots of yummy desserts to welcome in summer. Please consider signing up for a salad and joining us for a cool evening.

Friends of the Table: Sat., July 30th
We are scheduled to serve the meal at The Table in Brockton on Saturday, July 30th.  We need volunteers and donations of brownies.  Please sign up on the sheets in the narthex. For more info, contact Joan Powers at 781-545-9650 or email her at joanpowers29@comcast.net
Growing With God
The St. Luke's Farm Stand is now officially farmstand flower picopen.  We invite  you to grow and share your successes.  All of the items are free for sharing or swapping but if you are able to make a small donation all proceeds will benefit the local food pantries.  Can't wait to see what we get this week!
Scituate Food Pantry
August is St. Luke's month for staffing the Food Pantry. Please consider volunteering and sign up on the sheet in the narthex.
Thank you!
