It looks like Fall has definitely arrived and with it, a little more time to sew!  Couldn't come at a better time because we're loaded with Fall and Holiday fabrics and a full calendar of classes!

The Ofelia Dress from Patterns by Figgy is a sweet and simple dress that is perfect for the beginner sewer.  The dress can be made in sizes 12 months - 6 years.  In this class we will take you step-by-step from cutting out your pattern to sewing the finished product so that you can take home an adorable dress for the little girl in your life!    Variations on the pattern will also be shared.

Do you have some special t-shirts you just can't seem to part with?  Then don't!  

Make them into a one-of-a-kind quilt!  It's a great way to commemorate participation in a sport, organization or special event.    (Level:  Beginner)

The summer sure seemed to slip away way too quickly.  We had stellar Sidewalk Sales in July (minus the extreme heat and pouring rain) and some really fun birthday parties, field trips and going away celebrations!  We vended at the Quilts of Valor Weekend in Huntley in August where the quilt exhibit and presentations were a highlight!  

Don't forget the Northern Illinois Quilt Fest is still going strong.  If you haven't gotten your passport stamped at all 22 shops, you've got 3 weeks to go to take advantage of the 15% shop discount and register to win some great prizes.
