Profundo! is a bi-monthly class, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at Cuban Rhum Jungle.
A level to give you added depth, creativity, motion and newchallenges to your already amazing dancing on the dance floor.
This level will have talented and innovative guest teachers specialising in Cuban salsa, and teaching of high challenging standard. Varied each month with new styles, movements and cultures. Feeding your expression and dance.
Your grounding needs to be fully understood within Cuban casino (or
a solid experienced dance base) with a dancing experience of at least
2/3 years, and/or having been invited to join the class..

MELISSA BLANCO is a doctor in the arts, holding a PHD in dance history and theory. Having trained with the best in dance and Afro Cuban dance; DANZA CONTEMPORANEA DE CUBA and RAICES PROFUNDAS, to name but a few. Melissa is a well repected and very talented international performer, teacher and dancer. And we're very happy to have Melissa join us this month, and prescribe her very best...

A fantastic yearly event by Havana Nights with amazing Cuban artists and teachers from aorund the gobal and the UK. I advise highly. Bring your best dancing shoes, as along side top DJ's DJ & VJ Flecha and DJ Javier. DJ Rich will be spinning some choons for the Wales massive too. Triple threat!

Havana Rakatan will be popping by, just for a weekend.
Barbican puts on a bonaza of treats. Which includes Chucho Valdés & The Afro-Cuban Messengers + Ibrahim Maalouf - 18th November. Or book yourself a ticket to see the animated film Chico & Rita to which Chucho features in the soundtrack. Showing on 4th - 6th December. A beautiful lyrical animated love story by Javier Mariscal and Fernando Trueba, based in Havana, Cuba
