The Mobility Management website is updated.

Gas prices are increasing in 2011. Public funding is shrinking. The Governor calls for reinventing services. We need to collaborate to fill empty seats in existing cars, vans and buses. If you, or your agency, are interested in improving community transportation, please join us in this work.

The next Coordinated Transportation Committee meeting is Wed., May 18, 10:10-11:30 am, Borg Warner Room - WEST, Tompkins County Public Library.

Modern mobility at the Festival
Way2Go, Ithaca Carshare, TCAT, DSS and others are once again collaborating on a colorful and informative presence at the Ithaca Festival this year. We have spot in the parade, a table on the commons, known as the Way2Go Depot of Transportation Infomration, and a spot in the Green Gorges Expo in Stewart Park on Sunday.

We will share all sorts of info, engage passers by in some hands-on activities, and give out some fun goodies!

Festival Parade ~ inviting participants!
Last year, we had bees on bikes, colorful kid-cyclers, a zooming powerchair-user, roller skaters, walkers and more. Would you, someone you know, or a GROUP you know of, be interested in walking, rolling or otherwise joining the Way2Go parade section? Let me know, or have interested parties email staff@way2goinfo.org, or call Way2Go at 272-2292!

Information? Shwag? FACTS?
If you have any INFO MATERIALS, or any cool GOODIES for give-aways or prizes, that you think we may not have and would like to contribute to the booth, let us know! We will also be RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS for various projects, so let us know if you'd like to be represented!

We are also scheming a kind of spin the wheel transportation facts game for the booth (subject to change!) Got some interesting facts people could guess? Please email me!

Want to help staff the Way2Go Depot?
Got an hour or two? We are in pretty good shape for staff coverage, but welcome offers of help! Let me know if you're interested in staffing the table on the commons on Friday or Saturday between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm, and your PREFERRED TIME SLOT(S). We'll let you know if we need the help, and make sure to get folks a QUICK TRAINING before the festival so you'll be ready to go.

THANKS!
