Surrounding the Future Cape Coral VA Clinic
The VIZ Forum is hosted by the City of Cape Coral's Economic Development Office to showcase business development opportunities surrounding the soon-to-be-finished regional VA Outpatient Clinic, opening in NE Cape Coral in 2012. Once complete, the new Outpatient Clinic will provide a host of medical services for eligible veterans throughout the seven-county service area. Over 200,000 veterans are located in Southwest Florida.
This "must attend" event will offer the chance and to hear directly from developers with active projects adjacent to the VA Outpatient Clinic. Presentations are scheduled to be made by Patriot Plaza Project Director Chuck Smith, North American Properties Project Director Shawn McIntire, VA Clinic Associate Chief of Staff Dr. Ajay Dhawan, and Councilmember Bill Deile, a retired army colonel.
Representatives from the project builder, Manhattan Kraft Construction, and the new City of Cape Coral Economic Development Director, Dana Brunett, will be available to meet and greet attendees. The door prize is a weekend getaway generously donated by The Resort at Marina Village.
The VIZ Forum will start at 4pm on the grounds of the new clinic, located at the Northwest corner of Diplomat Parkway and Corbett Road. Tours cannot be made available yet, since the outfitting of the clinic is not fully completed and the VA has not officially taken possession of the facility.
The medical community and all stakeholders interested in the economic development of the area are invited. Presentations by:
