The Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (H.R. 4872) is a separate budget reconciliation bill which addresses the House Democra

ts' desired modifications to the Affordable Care Act. It was also passed by the House of Representatives on Sunday and the Senate has begun their work on it. Most experts assume the reconciliation bill will be amended by the Senate, in which case it will have to go back to the House for another vote.

Many provisions of H.R. 3590 will not apply until future years, and, as such, will not require action on your part. There are many provisions that will apply in 2010 depending on whether or not the Reconciliation Act is passed.
