Our Customer Service All Stars for January 2011
Greetings!

Every month we receive some very special notes and emails from patients complimenting the sales associates and opticians who took extra time and effort to make them happy. We want to share those messages with you and say thank you to these employees who personify the meaning of customer service. Join me in congratulating each of them.

"This year is already starting off with a bang: we're moving to bigger offices in Vienna and Bethesda, renovating Silver Spring and Forestville, and opening a new location in Frederick, MD. On top of that we just completed our most successful Groupon deal ever. It's all great news, but it also means that we need to be at the top of our game. That includes, keeping up with delivery dates and continuing to provide outstanding customer service. We know you can meet the challenge."

M STREET: "They did not try to sell me on anything I did not need. I told them that these were "just in case back up glasses" and that I literally only wear them at night when I'm lounging around at home. Obviously I wanted them to be nice looking, but I didn't need expensive frames and I didn't need any fancy non-glare lenses. They showed me a selection of their cheapest frames and helped me decide what looked best. My glasses were ready for me to pick up in less than a week."  
 
CLARENDON: "I had a great experience with My Eye Dr that could have easily been bad. I ordered glasses from Zei, the manager, and was told they would arrive in 5 business days. I learned a few days later the pair I ordered was backordered. This created a problem since I was leaving the country for about a month the following week. Zei came up with a solution, he gave me the demo pair he had in the shop for my trip, and then gave me the pair I originally ordered when I returned to My Eye Dr the next month. Great service."

 

UNION STATION: "I filled her in.  She said she could definitely get the glasses made in my timeframe.  She is the manager.  The next day, I changed my mind about the frames I wanted.  Shannon didn't have the other frames in stock, so she ordered them.  The following day, I went in to try on the frames and loved them.  Even with this two-day delay, Shannon still got the glasses made by my deadline.  I wore them on the cruise and loved them.  Thank you!"

 

BETHESDA: "Went here to get a new pair of glasses and was very happy with the selection and service. As a long time glasses/contacts wearer, this was the first time I was ever excite about my new glasses. Ask for Ahmady...he was very helpful and patient!"
