Happy Un-Birthday & Spring Break!

Friday, April 15th marked the last rally of the school year. ASB hosted a "Happy Un-Birthday" themed rally and gave out cupcakes to all students and faculty in honor of their un-birthday, and in anticipation of spring break! Read more about the rally on the Prep Blog!

2011 Prom

Invitations for the Prep's 2011 Prom were mailed home to all juniors and seniors during spring break, and tickets go on sale this week for the special low price of only $55 each until April 29th! Prom will be held at the Crevier Classic Car Museum in Costa Mesa on Saturday, May 21st from 8 p.m. until midnight.

Enjoy an ice cream sundae bar, cupcakes, cookies, checking out classic cars, and dancing to an awesome DJ! Juniors and seniors may bring Prep underclassmen to the dance, or a non-Fairmont student as long as a Guest Pass is completed and submitted on time.

Hey, Seniors!

The Prep's drama department is excited to present the dark drama/comedy FLUNG, a laugh-filled drama about family, fireworks, and finally growing up. FLUNG shows this week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 28th-30th at 7 p.m. in the Prep Theater. Check out the theater department website for additional details and to purchase your tickets. Don't miss it!

Hey, Seniors!

Prep Spirit Wear for the Class of 2011 is now available online at: www.schoolfundwear.com. Click on "Shop SFW," and then "Fairmont Prep." The Parent Association will donate five percent of all sales of this sweatshirt to ASB to use for future events and activities. Buy yours today!

Also, you should have all received your graduation announcements before leaving on spring break (they were available after school on Friday the 15th). If you missed picking yours up, contact Ms. Awa ASAP to get them. You probably want to mail them to your family and friends soon... graduation is just over a month away!

Attention Artists!

It's time again for our library's annual Bookmark Design Contest. This is a school-wide event and three student designs will be chosen from the Prep and FIA combined. The deadline for entries is April 29th and winners will be announced in May. The bookmark is a scene from your favorite book. Draw in pencil, colored markers, or crayons. Your entry must be hand drawn and not computer generated. You will be judged on use of imagination, representation of the book, neatness and creativity. Get your entry forms from your art teacher, from Mr. Silver, or from Mr. Adams in the library. Entry forms and rules are available at the Prep Library.
