Lobster Season
It's almost time for
Copyright Tim Rahn Photography | Lobster Mini Season, July 28-29th, with the regular season beginning a week later on August 6th. This is a great time to get out on your boat, and take part in a local tradition, not to mention catch a great meal. However it is important to make sure you follow all regulations for each season, avaliable Here at the FWC's offcial site, and most of all use safe boating and in water practices at all time. Never give scuba gear to a non-certified person, or agree to wear scuba gear if you are not certified. Stay at least 300 feet away from any other boat with a dive flag while running, and always watch for swimmers in the water, even if you do not see a flag.
As our valued customers and members of the Caribee family, we want you all to have a fun, safe, hassle-free time during lobster season. |

Keeping Your Boat Secure |
Your boat is a significant investment, and is very important to you. So we wanted to share several new technologies in the boating industry designed specifically to keep your boat safe.
As part of the Command Link Plus electronic control package Yamaha has developed its own security system, Y-COP, which is designed to only allow the outboard motors to run while you are on board. This is accomplished by the use of specially designed key chain fobs which are used to wirelessly arm and disarm the system. This system operates by activaing and deactivating the engine starter, keeping your boat where it belongs. By simply pressing a button on the remote the system turns off and you can proceed on your adventure, when you get home simply reactivate it, and know those engines won't be going anywhere without your knowledge. This feature is an option on all new V6 offshore, and V8 350HP models, as well as many of Yamaha's midrange Four Stroke engines in the near future.
Another technology we install on boats at Caribee is Nav-Tracker. The company offers boat security systems which operate using GPS technology. Their satellites monitor your boat's position at all times. If it moves from your dock when armed the system will know, and send you alerts by email and text message. Since the system can operate and track through the fiberglass in your deck, the it can be covertly installed in unexpected locations, so that would-be theives will never even know they are being monitored until it is too late.
For more information about these technologies call us today at (305) 664-3431. |

Repower Today
with Yamaha's latest F300HP V6 Offshore and F70 lightweight Fourstrokes
Last month we told you about the new lighter, faster, more fuel efficient Yamaha 4.2L V6 300 HP Fourstroke Offshore. The new outboard that is setting the standard by which all other engines must be measured, again.
This month we can tell you that we have these very engines in stock and ready to be installed! Along with this powerhouse we have also recieved the new lightwieght Yamaha F70 fourstroke. This engine is perfect for repowering your small boat or flats skiff. 110 pounds lighter than the current F75 and F90's, this engine will allow you to get in the skinny water, and that much closer to making the catch.
Both of these outboards are new this year, but share the same legacy of reliability and cutting edge performance as every Yamaha to come before them.
