It will also include a modern firearms range, increased evidence processing and storage capacity, increased jail capacity, and indoor parking for the department's operational vehicles.

CMAP'S TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM ONLINE PUBLIC TOOLS

CMAP's Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is the Chicago metropolitan area's agenda for all federally funded and/or regionally significant surface transportation projects. These projects include those funded through STP, SRTS, RTA, ITEP, CMAQ, HSI, HBP, and HPP programs, among others. The TIP Database and interactive map found on CMAP's website are helpful online tools for information and keeping up to date with these projects. To search for specific TIP projects in the CMAP TIP online database, go to

http://data.cmap.illinois.gov/tip and select "search projects". From there you may search for projects based on a wide variety of criteria including programming agency, municipality, county, the type of work being completed, funding source, federal fiscal year of programming, and location/street name. The interactive map of TIP projects can be found on the CMAP website.
IMET MONTHLY UPDATE
IMET's 1-3 Year Fund has provided strong performance over the last 12 months providing a return to IMET members of 1.07% on a gross of fees basis for the latest one-year period and .79% on a net of fees basis for the latest one-year period. IMET's 1-3 Year Fund invests exclusively in U.S. government-backed securities including Treasuries, Agencies, and Agency mortgage backed securities, only the safest investments permissible under the IL Public Funds Investment Act.

The IMET Convenience Fund (CVF) enhanced rate for September 2011 provided members with an outstanding annualized rate of .28% and 12-month return of .31%. The enhanced rate may change on a daily basis and is posted on IMET's website each day. The CVF has a minimum rate guarantee of the Federal Funds rate through 12/31/12.

The IMET CVF current rate is a blended rate consisting of the Fed Funds rate and a fixed income rate. The IMET Convenience Fund portfolio is comprised of FDIC insured CDs and liquid deposits collateralized at 110% and is managed so as to maintain a stable $1.00 share price. It offers daily liquidity and remains a very good investment option for a diverse investment portfolio providing members with safety, liquidity, and yield.
