JUNE CONFERENCE BUSINESS MEETING 
Registration is open for the June Conference Business Meeting. Prescient Solutions will be discussing cloud computing and why you might want to consider using the cloud.The meeting is Wednesday, June 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville. 2011-2012 BOARD OF DIRECTORS INDUCTED
The Conference inducted Burr Ridge Mayor Gary Grasso as its President at the Annual Dinner and Recognition Ceremony held in Burr Ridge on Friday, May 20. In addition to Mayor Grasso, Hanover Park President Rodney Craig was inducted as Vice President and Burr Ridge Administrator Steve Stricker was inducted as Secretary/Treasurer. STP WORKSHOP
The 2011 STP Workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 22 from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Lombard Village Hall. This workshop will provide project sponsors with application forms and information on using DuPage Council STP funds. The cost for members or their representatives is $10. The cost for non-members is $20. Registration must be completed by Wednesday, June 15. Cancellations after June 15 will be billed in full. SEMINAR FOR PPP
The Conference is a co-sponsor of It's Not Privatization: Implementing Partnerships in Illinois, an upcoming seminar on Public-Private Partnerships.  Organized by the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, this workshop will cover: the fundamentals of PPPs and the keys to success; Illinois legislative environment in support of PPPs; Case studies of successful projects and lessons learned; Development of RFPs and how to use a Public Cost Comparator; Innovative financing techniques for all types of projects; and Long-term public sector management of PPPs. The workshop will be held on Friday, June 24 at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook. For more information or to register, visit www.ncppp.org.  
SUSTAINABILITY SEMINAR OFFERED BY ICLEI
ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability is hosting a workshop on Sustainability Plans that Work on Friday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the CMAP office. The cost is $50, or free to ICLEI members. This workshop is geared toward local government professionals, including sustainability staff, city planners, public works staff, environmental staff and economic development specialists. IMET MONTHLY UPDATE
IMET's 1-3 Year Fund produced a net one month return of .32 percent as of April 30, 2011 (3.84 percent annualized), and a net one-year return of 1.57 percent as of April 30. Gross of fees, IMET's return since inception out-performed its benchmark, the Barclay's 1-3 Year Government Bond Index, with a gross since inception return of 4.73 percent compared to 4.69 percent for the benchmark. IMET's gross of fees one-year return was 1.85 percent as of April 30, 2011.
  
IMET continues to provide a solid source for diversification with enhanced returns over time for operating and reserve portfolios of Illinois public agencies. 
  
The Convenience Fund provided participants with a blended average daily yield of .32 percent for the month of April. IMET's Convenience Fund minimum rate guarantee through December 31, 2012, is equal to the high end of the fed funds rate. IMET's CVF is a fully collateralized (110%) or FDIC Insured, short-term money market instrument, which provides liquidity, yield, safety and diversification.
  
IMET's CVF current rate is a blended rate consisting of the fed funds rate and a fixed income rate. The blended daily CVF rate is posted on IMET's website and is updated daily.
