ANNUAL DINNER AND RECOGNITION CEREMONY
Registration is open for the Annual Dinner and Recognition Ceremony. DMMC will thank the 2010-2011 Board of Directors for their service as well as induct the 2011-2012 officers and announce the 2011-2012 Board. The event takes place Friday, May 20 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Marriott Chicago Southwest, Burr Ridge. Reservations are required and must be made by Friday, May 13. NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS WORKSHOP
Newly elected officials are encouraged to attend this informative workshop. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Conference office. The cost is $10. Topics covered include an introduction to DMMC, Open Meetings Act, FOIA, building relationships with municipal staff, addressing fiscal challenges, and municipal law and policies and procedures.
