Rise of Healthcare Costs Message from: Rick Rebel Employee Benefits Consultant
Employees Beware Higher healthcare costs ahead
---------------------------------------------
Large employers expect big increases in healthcare costs in 2012, and say they'll pass more and more of those costs on to their workers. That's the results of a new survey by the National Business Group on Health, a trade group for these large companies.
This means bigger expenses for workers, who will be asked to pick up more of those costs.
What can employees do to keep their own healthcare costs from eating the family budget? Here are some tips to consider:
- COORDINATE BENEFITS
- TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL TAX BREAKS
- USE THE "BENNIES"

Wasco County asked that we forward the following message to all of our Chamber Members that comes from the Partnership for Rural America to reauthorize Secure Rural Schools:
SRS Needs Your Help Attached is a request to ask all of your Facebook friends to join our campaign to have Secure Rural Schools (SRS) achieve reauthorization.
It's simple to do and will make a real difference. We encourage you to visit all three sites regularly as we will use Facebook & Twitter to keep you informed on campaign activities nationwide.

In addition, our Facebook page is now linked to the Facebook page of every receiving member of Congress who has a page and that's the vast majority of the members.
The current Authorization will expire October 1st but, as we offer in the attachment, we should all believe and work toward the goal that we can achieve reauthorization by the end of the year.
