Presented by: Gorge TransLink Alliance

The Gorge TransLink Alliance invites you to join public transportation providers in the Mid-Columbia River Gorge area at the first Gorge TransLink Gatekeeper Network Forum.

Gatekeeper to public transportation riders and potential riders are those individuals and organizations who work with low-income families, senior citizens, veterans, non-English language speakers, job seekers, individuals with disabilities, and others.

Forum to take place in the Columbia Room, just upstairs from the lobby. Refreshments will be provided for event participants.

Please join us for an opportunity to:
  • Learn about transportation services and procedure providers.
  • Discuss transportation options generally suggest or provide to your clients.
  • Share information about transportation options not previously included.
  • Network with transportation/other service providers to enhance regional connections.
  • Express the needs of your clients and how to provide access to transportation.

A Gorge Wine-Server Education class is being co-sponsored by the Columbia Gorge Winegrowers Association and Columbia Gorge Community College.

This FREE class will be offered at The Pines Tasting Room, located at 202 State Street in Hood River, OR. on Monday, June 6th, from 1-3PM.

This class is presented by local wine industry professionals and will give participants the skills to understand the practical meaning of 'A World of Wine in Forty Miles' for Columbia Gorge grown grapes (Gorge terroir), impact of winemaking techniques including stainless vs oak, the importance of vintage, the diversity of Gorge wines, and proper methods to open and present wines.

Participants will meet Gorge grape growers and wine makers, and have the opportunity to ask questions of local experts.
