MCCOG's National Emergency Grant For On-the-Job Training (OJT) - update
Mid-Columbia Council of Governments (MCCOG), the local provider for the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program, is in the process of implementing a National Emergency Grant for On-the-Job Training (OJT).
This program targets local workers who have been laid off due to the recession. This is not a rehabilitation program.
The ultimate goal is to assist eligible dislocated workers in returning to full-time, steady employment. This can happen in one of two ways.
MCCOG can match eligible workers to your openings, or you can contact us to determine if applicants you already have may be eligible.
More details about the program are available here: OJT Letter for Employers
For more information please contact Traci Johnson at 541.386.6300 x303; 541.298.4101 x 214; or by email at traci.johnson@mccog.com.
