"Treasures of Tomorrow"

North Wasco County School District #21 Education Foundation is holding an auction of "Oldies and Goodies" on May 7th, 2011.

 

The auction will take place at TDWHS, 3601 W. 10th Street, The Dalles. Doors open at 8:30AM with the auction starting at 10AM. Morgan Auctioneers of The Dalles will do the selling. Food will be provided by The Dalles Lion's Club.

 

Auction proceeds will go toward the creation and sustainment of an agriculturally focused science course at TDWHS, as part of the Foundation's mission to bring hands-on learning experiences tied  to agriculture to our students.

Gorge Angel Conference - April 26th

This educational, networking and investment conference will feature lunch, company display tables, a speed networking session, and many company presentations.

Three finalist companies selected by the Gorge Angel Investor Network 4 (GAIN4, LLC) will present a 10 minute power point presentation.

Other companies will have an opportunity to make a 5 minute presentation. GAIN4 has raised $100,000 to invest in local companies. To sweeten the deal, the Oregon Growth Account (OGA) will provide a $25,000 match. At the conclusion of the event, GAIN4 will make a decision about entering into funding negotiations with the most suitable investment opportunity.
