Wasco County Considers Prioritization of Needs and Issues Upcoming Meeting: April 20th, 2011
The Wasco County Board of Commissioners will consider the adoption of the countywide Technical Assistance and Public Works projects on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. This "Needs and Issues Top Ten Priority" list is a recommendation of the top ten prioritized projects in each category; Technical Assistance and Public Works/Infrastructure, put together by the Economic Development Commission (EDC). The Needs and Issues list works two fold; it gives direction to EDC staff of how to support economic development within the County and gives the projects listed the ability to show documented local support, a very useful leverage when seeking funding sources (Details can be seen via this link: Press Release). For more information please contac t Executive Director, Amanda Hoey: 541.296.2266.
