North Shore Launch Closed Starting November 8th, 2010 Alternatives are Available
The Dalles Lock and Dam's North Shore boat launch, just off U.S. Highway 197 near Dallesport, WA, will close November 8, 2010, to accommodate major construction work at the navigation lock.
Boaters may use nearby boat ramps at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Avery Park or Washington State Parks' Columbia Hills State Park, east of The Dalles Dam off WA Highway 14.
