Our mission at The Art of Yoga Project is to lead teen girls in the California Juvenile Justice System toward accountability
to themselves, others and their communities by providing practical tools to effect behavioral change.
We invite yoga teachers to join our work by donating the proceeds from one or multiple classes to our cause.
 
In addition, we are always looking for individuals willing to host a house party or other fundraising event.

Bay Area Premiere Screening

We are very excited to announce that AYP will be partnering with Yogawoman for the Bay Area Premiere screening of this feature-length documentary about, well, women and yoga. Traditionally a male-dominated practice, Yogawoman chronicles the transformation of yoga through the infusion of distinctly feminine principles. SF BAY AREA MINDFULNESS IN EDUCATION CONFERENCE
October 14-16, 2011
 

The Association for Mindfulness in Education is pleased to announce that registration will soon be open for the Mindfulness in Education Conference on October 14th-16th in Menlo Park, CA. The conference is co-sponsored by the Stanford School of Education and the Stanford Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. 

Two units of Continuing Education Credits

will be available through the

Stanford Continuing Studies Department.
