God Is Awesome

We have been so blessed to have several teams come and help us with the many different projects that we are involved with at this time. Freedom Ranch is looking fantastic! Thank you!
Freedom Ranch
Roof We are so excited about what God is doing in Honduras and in the lives of our family and friends.  Teams from Texas, Florida and Kentucky have joined us in the June and July!  Here, Richie, from KY,  is giving Tina money for her to build a chicken house and coop so she can raise eggs. Richie has been here for 3 weeks working hard on the ranch house! Chicken Coop

Quinta Terra and American Airline Employees from Texas, brought us 34 boxes and 17 suitcases full of supplies the first of May. God answered prayer and what seemed like an impossibility became possible. Finally getting the boxes through customs was a piece of cake after spending days trying to make it all happen.Quinta Terra is worth sowing seed into.  Several churches collected supplies for the people here and Quinta Terra and American Airline Employees brought the supplies at no charge to us.  We also had our youngest short term mission team member Mariaclara Palazuelos as seen here in this photograph. Thank you!
Dr John Christian Assembly from Ky.
Christian Assembly from Kentucky sent a team for a week and what a blessing they were. Some worked on painting Freedom Ranch and some worked on the mural a the school.  Doctor John gave body adjustments for the people.  The team provided the paint for the dorms and for the outside of Freedom Ranch.  After several days of hard work they enjoyed some time in the mountain and at the Valley of Angels.  We are blessed to have Richie Bittle here with us a few extra days helping to made and install the bars to the windows and m any other tasks.
Phyliss Momma Sue and Phyllis from Ky.
We have been blessed to have two of our long time friends with us.  Darrell's adopted Mom, Momma Sue, and Phyllis, his adopted sister.  They are here for two weeks and have painted at Freedom Ranch and have worked on crafts and sewing to help teach more skills to the people here.  They are have helping Melody and Mike to bag up food to take the various areas.
Mike Melody and Mike from Flordia.
We are blessed to have Melody and Mike with us. They have been ministering in different areas, taking food to various places, and doing medical clinics with Dr Jorge.  They provided a meal for the people at Ocotal and Mike played a clown and they gave out prizes for the many games. They also provided food for the children's church and for the school children.  We have enjoyed Mike's cooking and friendship. Also, Melody is the one who witnessed to Ever before we ever knew him and prayed with him for salvation. It is amazing what one trip to the mission field can do for just one person. They also put a sealer over the mural on the school.
AlexMatt with peanut butter
Alex, Catherine, Matt from Texas

We were blessed with Matt, who helped pour concrete at Freedom Ranch, and with Alex and Kathryn who worked at the school.  Alex painted a mural of the creation on front of the school and did a wonderful job. Alex and Kathryn are shown to the left working on the school. Matt is taking a break to eat the famous peanut butter sandwich! When you work in the heat all day, you have to bring food that will not spoil, therefore, we missionaries do feast on peanut butter and then we can grab a mango out of a tree when in season!
Shaggy and Scoob A few FAVORITE PHOTOS
We have a big cuddly dog named Samson. He's a friend and a great protector. However, here, he and Matt sort of look like Shaggy and Scooby.

When you do not have a can opener or screw driver and you need to open a can of paint and there is no store nearby, what do you do? Well, get out the trusty shovel, of course!

RoofWhen Alex gave the little girl on the mountain playdough, Ever explained to her that it was not food and what to do with it. She went directly to her mother's kitchen where she began to take out the dough and make...playdough tortillas.

Sandra
PROGRESS NEWS! Sandra's house is finished. She now live behind the church and her children have bedrooms! She painted her house and is proud of the pink/lilac and yellow. Hondurans love color!

The school painting is pretty much finished and the Freedom Ranch is well on its way. We look forward to moving the ministry base to the area.

Kirstie, our Grandaughter

We were blessed to have our grandaughter to visit us for a month.  She graduated from high school on a Friday and then on Sunday she graduated with an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from the  International School of Ministry.  Kirstie worked with the young and older youth
teaching them dance, painted a mural at the school and she and I enjoyed talking about a business she is thinking about starting that would provide groups with fund raising opportunities.
The River Team
Shannon and Teacher
Our home church sent a team to work on the school and provide supplies for it. Shannon is shown here trimming the wall with the teacher. Jaymi and Somer played with the kids and painted the desks and chairs.

Thanks to The River, Alex, Kathryn, and Christian Assembly and those who supported them.
