Tea PartyHello
We have been working hard but we have had some fun days also.  One of the most enjoyable days is when we decided to teach the little girls how to have a tea party.  We had dress up clothes so they had to get dressed up and they got their nails polished and hair done.  We served frosted animal cookies and different flavors of milk. There were about 22 happy girls that day. They also had a Bible Story and sang some Bible Songs when they finished eating followed by a fashion show.  During the tea party the girls were shown where to place their napkin so someday they will be ready for the real thing. The only problem we had was the pitchers leaked.  Sister Lisa Dalton and Darrell's niece Patty were here to help me.

Roof Freedom Ranch
We have been very busy at Freedom Ranch.  We are ready to put in the electric so as the roof is completed. We are still believing God for money for the well and  security
fence. It is vital that we can get moved in June.  We will not be putting tile down on all the floors and finishing  the walls. We need to do what has to to be done in order for us to live there and be able to have groups come and then we can finish it as finances allow.  We have built fences to hold live stock and Ever's horse as well as planted orange trees, avocado
trees and banana trees, a garden and rose bushes.  We have had the community to come for their first wiener roast and we are planning on a huge activity in July.

Feeding at the school School Update
The eleven high school students are doing well.  The 7th graders had to purchase their own desk and will leave it there after they finish school.  They have been taking tests the last two week-ends.  We have been working with the teacher at Ocotal.  We are providing hot meals to the children once a week and we are now providing bottled water. Some of the children have been raising  tomato plants. We are hoping to raise enough money to be able to do some repairs on the school.  Some of the ceiling tiles are gone, there are big pieces of cement out of the floor as well as other structure needs.  The teacher said he would like to have some more bars put up and screen on the big classroom in order to keep people from breaking in the school.  We are providing him with vitamins for the children as well as tooth brushes and tooth paste and school supplies.  We are hoping to get 6 new desks as some of the children do not have a desk.  He is teaching 49 students in 6 different grades.  We are hoping to get the repair work done and the rooms painted in the next couple of months.

Cooking Class

Hello
We are so excited to share with you  the things that God is doing in Honduras this year. The last few months has been very busy but we are seeing God performing miracles each day.  It takes our breath away when we look at the number of people, the different states and different churches that have a part in accomplishing what God has called us to do in Honduras
It is exciting to see people being saved, and being trained and see their quality of life improve as they learn new skills and better community health.
We have church at Ocotal twice a week and have discipleship class one night a week. I have been teaching English classes two afternoons a week and they are doing very well. We have been teaching people how to raise a garden, how to start a business and keep money to work with, Ray and Martha have been here twice this year and have done a lot of things one taking some ladies shopping at the mall in the city for the first time ever. (Remember they have not ever been on a elevator, escalator, seen electric doors or money coming from the ATM machines.
We plan on starting canning classes soon.

One of our partners gave money for us to build Sandra a house. Once  we got the house built, Darrell built bunk beds. When we took the mattresses into Olvan's room ,he had a desk put together out of brick and a piece of wood.  It is the first time that he has had his own bed.  He works with Darrell and attends school on Sundays and is Ever's brother.  He is 16 years old.  Sandra is waiting for the stucco to be completed and she will be ready to move and for the first time will not have dirt floors
