For several years, top management of Mt Hood Solutions wanted a mobile method for their sales force to place "live" orders on-site, right in their customers' offices.  They tried other solutions, including a laptop solution, but with its requirement for a wi-fi "hot spot," it just wasn't a good fit.  However, with the Apple iPhone and its cell-phone mobility, it can work just about anywhere.  So they asked MASI to help with a mobile sales application.  Our "Web Kit" from AddonSoftware, customized for the smaller screen and Mt Hood's requirements, filled the bill.

 

Before the iPhone, their salespeople had an armload of books, paper forms, clipboards, notebooks, and whatever they needed to service their customers on site.  Now, as you can see in the video, all they need is their iPhone.  They can take a customer's inventory, place an order, check on open orders, and more.  All live, on-line, and in the presence of their very impressed customer!

 

What's more, Mt Hood Solutions also offers their customers this same application for use on their own computers or iPhones, so they can perform self-service if that's their preference.
