We recently announced that 20 clients have been working with us for 20 years or more!  Our plan is to highlight these clients in a series of e-Newsletters over the next few months.  The first of these clients purchased AddonSoftware from us 25 years ago, in July 1985 when they were Puget Sound Tent & Awning.  Since then, Rainier Industries, Inc. has grown and thrived, and has become one of the best manufacturing organizations in the Pacific Northwest.

Rainier, previously known as Puget Sound Tent & Awning, was established in 1896, specializing in tents, custom fabric products and awnings for a growing Puget Sound area. The company began by providing tents and camping supplies for prospectors headed north for the Alaskan Gold Rush.  Scott Campbell has owned and operated the company since 1984.  Since Campbell's acquisition of the company, Rainier has diversified into providing display products focusing on large format graphics, digital wall coverings, high-quality retail displays, and sewn appliqué banners.
 
Rainier supports many of the biggest brands in the country including Microsoft, Boeing, Eddie Bauer, Coldwater Creek, Safeway, McDonald's, Starbucks, REI, NASA, and the U.S. Coast Guard with large scale graphics, fabric and shelter solutions. Rainier provides its clients with quality products and services to help strengthen their brands through vibrant, powerful visual imaging for major marketing campaign rollouts.  Rainier's work was prominent at the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Rainier has in-house design and art departments that can assist in developing visual advertising, point-of-purchase displays, trade show booths and other business identity sign products. 
 
The company is uniquely diverse. There is a graphics department that features state-of-the-art printing and finishing equipment.  A fabric shop that has professionals with an average of twelve years sewing experience, and trained to utilize state-of-the-art electronic and computer aided equipment.  Rainier maintains a technical department to ensure proper manufacturing methods and to assure necessary permits for our fieldwork and a metal shop staffed with certified welders and the most modern equipment including waterjet and powder coating. Finally, there is a wood shop with full cabinetry skills.
