Workshops and Events with Layne Redmond

I have just passed
my 57th birthday here in Salvador, Brazil. I have much to be grateful for. Last year I survived a malignant tumor and am clear of all
pathology at this time. The prayers and drumming of my friends around the world helped me to heal.
The message that I am living today is
that life is short and getting shorter every passing minute. It is important to be living our
heart's deepest desire, bringing ourselves into alignment with our ultimate
purpose for being alive.
I will be teaching new purification practices using the frame drum and Tibetan bowls and bells in all my upcoming workshops. This practice purifies the self, others and the environment. It has grown out of my healing from cancer and the purifying rituals I have participated in after the sudden suicide of my dear friend and apartment mate here in Brazil in July. This past year and a half I have had to rededicate myself to practices of purification and healing on a completely new level. I want to do these practices everywhere I go with everyone I share ritual time and space with.

In Cyprus two weekend workshops:
Advanced Workshop for experienced Frame Drummers (must be confirmed with Layne Redmond for this workshop) and an Intro Level Frame Drum Workshop.
Join a group of Cypriot
women and men to study the frame drum and the meditation practices of
the ancient Bee Priestesses. We'll also visit the great museums of
Cyprus and the sacred sites of Aphrodite. We
will be a small group so contact us early! If you are planning on
attending the drumming retreat in Cyprus you must come with an
appropriate Middle Eastern Style tambourine and for the advanced
workshop you will also need a tar.
Possible extension of trip:
SHAMANIC TOUR OF THE ORACULAR SITES OF GREECE
We
are in the planning stages for a pilgrimage to Greece and Cyprus. The Cyprus part will
definitely happen and if all goes well we will go to the mainland of
Greece to the oracular sites and visit the great museums of Athens.
