Confined to a wheelchair at 19...

until Henry Mayo came along

Amanda was a vibrant, fun-loving and active teenager.  She loved music, treasured her friends, worshiped her Facebook and cherished her mom and dad.  However, at 19 Amanda found herself confined to a wheelchair due to ongoing back problems.

Amanda's journey with inconsolable back pain began around age 14 with on-again, off-again back spasms.

Reduced Cost Mammograms

Henry Mayo's Dedicated to Fighting Breast Cancer

With a dedication to fighting breast cancer through early detection and timely treatments, the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center is offering a special cash price of $175 for screening mammograms during October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

mamo

Designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR), the Center uses high tech digital mammography, which is faster and significantly increases the ability to see very small abnormalities as opposed to traditional analog mammography.

In addition, the Center has the latest ultrasound technology, as well as breast MRI, which complements mammography in cancer detection and facilitates minimally invasive, image-guided biopsies.

The Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center does not require a physician's referral or prescription for routine screening mammograms. Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday, including lunchtimes and into the evening, as well as some weekends. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 661-253-8822
