Frontier Toyota/Henry Mayo Golf Classic Exceeds Expectations
Raises Money for Local Trauma Services | |
The 38th Annual Frontier Toyota/Henry Mayo "Drive Safe" Golf Classic exceeded the expectations of both golfers and event organizers by offering a remarkable day of entertainment while raising $325,000 for trauma and emergency care at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.
The IMAX Bancard team, consisting of Alex Macaluso, Patrick Cain, Jerry Cain, Travis Cain, and Mike Cain, took first place gross. Read more here. |
Evening Activities Kept the Fun Going at Golf Classic | |
After a full day of golf and fun activities, golfers, guests, and volunteers enjoyed a fiesta-themed evening of entertainment, which included a Rattler's BAR B QUE buffet dinner of barbecued meats, salads, sides and desserts.
The evening events included an awards ceremony as well as live and silent auctions, where attendees bid on vacation packages, jewelry, and more. |
Foundation Wins Big in Golf Ball Drop | |
Always a popular game of chance, the golf ball drop ticket sales raised $15,000 for the Foundation.
Mitchel Katz's lucky number matched the golf ball to drop closest to the hole, winning the $2,000 first place prize.
The Foundation won again when Bob Benjamin generously donated his second place prize of $500 back to the hospital. |

Holiday Home Tour League Members | |
What do the holidays and spring fashion have in common?
Both converged during the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital's Holiday Home Tour League annual membership drive luncheon that was held at The Oaks Grille in Valencia on May 4.
Featuring the latest styles from Valencia's White House/ Black Market and a delicious Italian-themed buffet, the festive event promoted volunteer opportunities available with the Home Tour League, which raises funds for Henry Mayo Hospital's women's services, including the upcoming Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, scheduled to open in December 2011.
