Why choose business grade broadband
Are your tired of slow connections and delays when using the internet at work? Business grade broadband could be the solution. You do not and never will receive a constant set speed on consumer grade broadband connections, your connection speed will fluctuate from one second to the next.
Think of this in the same way as rush hour driving - broadband is the same, the more connections there are, the more bandwidth has to be shared. Opting for a business grade service with guaranteed bandwidth ensures your business doesn't have to stop during peak times.
Other factors can also affect the speed of your connection so check the following:
- Check all devices on your line are filtered (Phones, Faxes etc)
- Run a Spy ware and virus scan
- If you have a wireless connection, make sure it is secure, as other people could be using the bandwidth
- Quality of your line/copper wiring
- Speed of your office computers
- Type and quality of your modem/router
- Distance from the exchange, this is a major factor in rural Wales.
If your having difficulties with Broadband availability in your area you can register online with the Welsh Assembly Government "Not spot" service.
Telemat have recently extended our range and speed of broadband services.
We now offer a range of Consumer and Business grade ADSL, ADSL Max , SDSL and Bonded services for web, VPN and Email access.
We realise the importance of a reliable and supported internet connection for small business especially those in rural areas. Prices on our business grade are competitive too!
