Happy new year! We hope you had a relaxing break.
This month, we give you a sneak peak at our new website, show you some great photos of members on holidays, let you know about a City of Sydney initiative that we think many members will love, and announce a new global roaming partner.
We also have 10 pairs of theatre tickets to give away to some lucky (and quick!) members.

New website design coming very soon...

|  By the end of this month, we'll be uploading the first of a string of updates to our booking system, which will make it easier to book the car you want... and quickly!
New features include: - Find the closest pods by simply typing in an address. (No more searching through regions!)
- Save multiple addresses - example "Work" or "Home" - and they'll be there each time you log back in. For example, if you click on 'Home' you will get all the pods closest to home. If you click on 'Work', you'll get all the pods closest to work. Easy!
- Quickly search by car type - for example if you need to know where our people movers are located - and search by car accessories like, child seats, pet friendly, roof racks or bluetooth.
These are the first of some significant changes that you'll see over the coming months - all with the aim of making our members' lives easier! |
Cycle to your pod

|  The City of Sydney is helping to make carsharing even more convenient, by adding bicycle parking rings to some of the sign poles next to carshare pods.
So if you need to cycle to a GoGet car that might be a little far to walk - say you want a van to shoot out to IKEA - you can lock up your bike while you drive out there.
You can then drop your new flatpacks, rugs, scented candles, and ergonomic pillows at home, and then return the van back to its pod, before cycling back home!

We all know GoGet membership is great for getting you places! Well, now it even extends... (cue Samba music!)... to Brazil!!
Our friends at Zazcar, in Sao Paulo, Brazil's largest city, will give GoGet members free casual membership.
So the next time you're in Sao Paulo on holiday or on business, or maybe on your way home to visit family (that's a special shout out to our many Brazilian GoGet members!), you now don't have to worry about hiring a car!
Just get in touch with us before heading over and we'll sort it out for you.

| | Thanks to our council partners, we've added new cars into new pods in the following Sydney locations:

Tip of the month
| | Please remember when parking in a two car on-street pod to ensure that you park in only one of the dedicated bays, and that your GoGet car isn't poking it's nose or bum into the other bay.
That way your fellow GoGet member will have enough room to park their GoGet car when they return.
This is especially important in pods where one of the cars is a van, or people mover.

Survey
| |  Thank you to everyone who completed our council survey last month. The information provided is vital for helping councils formulate their carsharing policies.
It's also crucial for us to know what you think about the service so that we can continue to improve it.
We'll share some interesting stats with you over the coming weeks.

The Boys

Our friends at the Griffin Theatre Company in Darlinghurst have kicked off their 2012 season with the reincarnation of the harrowing Aussie classic "The Boys".
We have 10 pairs of tickets to give away! All you have to do is answer to the question "Who played Brett Sprague in the original play and in the movie adaptation?"
