Fuel cards are back!

We only have a few suburbs to go before the fuel cards have been rolled out to the entire network. It should all be completed by the end of next week.

We'd love to hear feedback from members who have already used the new fuel cards.

Please send us an email if you have any comments about the new system.

And thanks again to everyone for sending through all your fuel receipts.

Congratulations to Wayne from the Sydney CBD who was the member who filled up the most times. We're giving Wayne a cool folding bike - The Strida. Just a small thank you for all the effort required to fill up.
Strida
It's perfect for cycling to your GoGet car. Then just fold it up and put it in the boot!

Thanks again to everyone for your patience.

In addition to our two new vans in the CBD, we have also added another 5 vans to the following locations, including 'The Trevmobile', in honour of Trevor Davies, the late founding editor of the South Sydney Herald and a dear friend and early GoGet supporter.

'The Trevmobile' lives at Darlington - Codrington Street

Our other new vans are in the following locations:

Bondi Junction - Bronte Road

Have my parking spot.

Lots of people have started noticing carsharing lately!

While most people get that 15-20 people sharing one car is good for everyone, some non-GoGetters only notice the - often empty - dedicated carshare bay. It's understandable that some people think that the carshare bay on their street is adding to their parking problems.

What they don't realise is that with up to 20 neighbours using the one car, the carshare bay is alleviating parking problems, not adding to them.

So we have created this little sticker for any members who  Parking

wish to put it on their front door, letterbox or fence.

It's to start a conversation with the neighbours; to let them know that your choice to carshare is a benefit to everyone, including the neighbours who do own a car.

We have sent a few of these stickers out to members. If you haven't received one, but would like one, just email us

GoGet can save you even more!
Planning on moving to Melbourne soon by any chance? If you are, then being a GoGet member could save you thousands, and not on transport!

The CommonsYou can get a great discount just for being a GoGet member on a new development  located in  Brunswick.

'The Commons' apartments will set a new standard for sustainable urban residential development. The entire development is also car free and will be a new location for a GoGet pod.

If you're interested in buying an apartment off-the-plan, then make sure you mention that you're a GoGet member to receive a $10,000 discount on the sale price of the apartment!

NewcarsNew Cars and Pods
Thanks to our council partners, we've added new cars into new pods in the following Sydney locations:

Tip of the month
As an added security measure on the new fuel cards, each card is limited by the type of fuel it can be used for. So almost all cars (all except two models) ONLY take standard unleaded fuel.

That means that if you put premium fuel into these cars, you won't be able to pay using the fuel card in the car and will have to pay for the fuel yourself and then send us the receipt.

The only two models that ONLY take Premium fuel are the Alfa MiTo and the Suzuki Alto.
Double trouble

Last month GoGetter Sarah Imm was featured in a Sydney Morning Herald article about going into labour and jumping in a GoGet wagon to get to hospital for the birth of Julius. She struck a chord with Joseph Perrone who read the article and thought GoGet would be a great way for him and his partner, Katy, to get their newborns home from the hospital. That's right - plural!

Say 'Hi' to Rose and Mario! They're the first twins that we know of to be driven home for the very first time in a GoGet car!

Their parents joined GoGet just after their twins were born, receiving their member pack at hospital. Congratulations to Joseph and Katy. We're all chuffed that we could play a tiny part at such a special time.
