When was the last time you rode a bike?
We know lots of GoGet members could answer 'this morning'. But what about your work mates?
Well, we asked around the GoGet office.
- 75% said 'in the last month' (31% - 'this morning')
- 5% said 'does a Honda count'
- 20% said 'can't remember, but it had training wheels.'
Does your workplace have more pedal pushers? Well, you're going to have to prove it!
The City of Sydney has launched "The Sydney Rides Challenge" to get more people in the city interested in cycling. It's a fun competition, with lots of prizes, to see which organisation can get the greatest percentage of staff to ride a bike!
It's on between the 26th of September - 16th of October, as part of the Sydney Rides Festival.
To participate, you just need to ride a bike for 10 minutes. Easy!
So for everyone who had training wheels on the last time they rode a bike, all you need to do is borrow a work mate's helmet, and probably their bike. Have them stand behind you holding the seat. Steady yourself, close your eyes and start pedalling! Off you go. Ride around the block a couple of times and in 10 minutes you're done. See, easy!
Well, we'll be having a go and we challenge all GoGet

members to see if their workplace can do any better than us! And every member whose organisation beats us, will go into the draw to win a year's free GoFrequent membership!
So go on, get pushing! Email us with your details and score at the end of the challenge. And - just in case - we were kidding about the 'close your eyes' bit! |
