Introducing the Suzuki Alto
|
|
 We're pleased to announce the introduction of the Suzuki
Alto to the GoGet fleet. The Alto is a great city runabout, and is one of the country's top
green vehicles.
The highlights of the Alto include:
- 5-doors
- Hybrid-like CO2 emissions
- 85% recyclable parts and
- 6 airbags
They'll be joining the fleet over the next month.

Invited to a day out

|
 Join GoGet Co-Founder, Bruce Jeffreys, at Trio Apartments in the City Quarter in Camperdown this Saturday. Trio is having an open day celebrating Spring and the
Lord Mayor, Clover Moore MP, will officially launch GoGet in
the building.
We think Trio is special, not just because it will eventually have 10 GoGet cars, or because of its other green initiatives such as the 33m Living Wall, but because it's the country's first residential development to have had carsharing successfully
incorporated into the planning process.
Come and say hi. There'll be talks about the Living Wall, a Q&A with the architect and lots more activities.
And to keep your energy up, there'll be a free gourmet sausage sizzle! So we hope to see you there!

When: Saturday 12th September 11am-3pm.

Ex-GoGet cars are loved! |

 It's not only GoGet members who love GoGet cars. Jade Honey isn't a
member, but loves GoGet cars so much that she bought two of them... in
one year!
Sadly someone hit her first ex-GoGet car, writing it off. But she was so happy with it, she came back to see if we had any friends for sale and bought Helen the Yaris.
We hope both Jade and Helen have a wonderful, and more enduring, relationship.
And remember, your friends and family receive a 5% discount on any pre-loved GoGet cars!

Based on a true story

We are happy to announce that after going missing for a few days, GoGet co-founder, Bruce Jeffreys, has been returned safely to us.
Late last month, Bruce was going through Sydney airport security on his way to Melbourne, when he remembered he had a ten-inch kitchen knife in his carry on luggage. He opened his bag and pulled out the knife wrapped in a tea-towel stained with... well, in the right light it looked like blood!
For legal reasons he can't go into details about what happened next. Suffice to say that it took some time for the authorities to believe that Bruce had been cutting chocolate cake at the Mosman launch of GoGet a few days earlier and had merely forgotten about the knife in his bag.
Welcome back, Bruce!
