Greetings!
Does God Delight in Y O U?.... (1 of 5)
God cannot be intimidated or bullied into feeling as He does about any of us.
He has already demonstrated that He loves us by sacrificing His only beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
The Lord God, who created the universe from nothing and who holds the world in His loving and powerful hands!
The One who can raise up the rocks to praise Him, who understands the language of fish, birds and all creation!
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!
The great God who has legions of angels singing His praise night and day, ( Rev. 7:11) which means He is not lacking in being
loved, adored and honored.
This is why the Lord can delight in us.
There is no threat when He honors us nor will it take away anything from Him.
We should learn this principle in dealing with one another.
We suffer no loss and there is no harm incurred by us to genuinely celebrate, love, and honor others when we understand
who and whose we are.

Does God Delight in Y O U?.... (2 of 5) Daddy-God loves and watches over us and it is not because of our accomplishments, education, family line, friends, etc. We are told in Psalm 147:10- He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might. If we would be more concerned about how we are evaluated by God, we would be more mindful of seeking to please God rather than others or self. Daddy-God is not impressed with anything we have for the strength and ability to obtain what we have comes from Him.
However, we are told what impresses the Lord God in v11- No, the LORD's delight is in those who fear Him, those who put their
hope in His unfailing love.
To be the Lord's delight, joy, and pleasure should be the drive of our hearts and desire!
We should want Him to smile and blush from the mention of our names and the love we offer to Him.
Instead of trying to advance ourselves among men and compromising who we are and how we should be just to
try to gain the respect of men, we should funnel that energy into delighting Daddy-God.

Does God Delight in Y O U?.... (3 of 5)
We delight Him by loving Him and accepting His Son Jesus as our Savior!
By embracing and respecting the uniqueness of who He created each of us to be.
We delight Him by choosing to step over fear and not stopping until we accomplish the missions He gives us to do.
We delight Him by honoring Him in others, loving them and dedicating ourselves to reflect His glory to them.
We delight Him by walking in the faith of His Word and choosing to believe, trust and committing ourselves to Him, no matter what!
He delights in us when we place our hope in Him and not in ourselves-what we can do, who we are, who we
know or what we think.
The Lord delights in those who continuously acknowledge their total dependency on Him, humbling themselves by bowing their
hearts, minds and souls before the throne of Almighty God and trusting Him to manifest what they need and desire.

We must place our trust, hope and belief that "Father Knows Best" for our lives.
Daddy-God delights in those who recognize and honor His unfailing (merciful, faithful and kind) love.
The fact that He never wanted us to experience life outside the Garden of Eden; but because of mankind's choice to sin He
would not allow man to stay in the Garden of Eden, demonstrates His great love for us. (Gen 3:23)
Bible Scholar Guzik notes that God protected Adam and Eve from the horrible fate of having to live forever as sinners by
preventing them from eating from the Tree of Life.
Daddy-God delights in those who recognize that His love had a Plan B already to be enacted through the Sacrifice of His Son, so
that we would have a chance to choose where we will spend eternity-in Heaven or Hell.
So, based on our free-will choices, are you and I choosing to live in ways which delight Daddy-God?

Yes, God loves us, no question about that! But DOES HE DELIGHT IN YOUR LIFE AND MY LIFE?
We have experienced relationships with persons whom we love, but because of their actions, we did not delight in them!
If we are obeying and displaying v. 11- the LORD's delight is in those who fear Him, those who put their hope in His unfailing love,
then the answer is YES, YES, YES! Daddy-God delights in us!
This is the highest honor we can ever receive!
