Greetings!
Do You Desire to be Successful? (1 of 5)
If we live in submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, our desire to be successful will be reasonable and Spirit-led.
Most people desire to be successful in their endeavors!
The unfortunate reality is that some people allow the desire to be "successful" to drive them to obtain it by
any means necessary, regardless of what or who they might abuse along the way.
Daddy-God desires that we are successful as He has been.
His success can be seen in His creation of the Heavens and earth, mankind, all of the various animals, plants, planets and
the mighty oceans!
Most awesome is His success in creating an opportunity for us to have a relationship with Him through the
Salvation provided by His Son, Jesus Christ.

Do You Desire to be Successful? (2 of 5)
However, in order for us to experience success in a God-desired manner that will be genuine and not temporary or faulty;
we must embrace certain keys which MUST BE APPLIED IN EACH OF OUR ENDEAVORS!
We find those keys in 2Chronicles 19: 9- And he charged them: "Thus you shall do in the fear of the LORD, in faithfulness, and with your whole heart.
First, we must apply Proverbs 3:6-In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
This is how we find out what we must do (work, make, produce, accomplish), when we should do it and how to do it.
This is also how we find out what we should not do.
Another way in which we acknowledge our need for the Lord's assistance is by humbling ourselves and praying
Psalm 118:25-Please, LORD, please save us. Please, LORD, please give us success.

Then what we are to "do", we must do it in the fear-(respect and reverence) of the Lord.
We must revere Him and be fully persuaded that we must obey Him and follow His directions of how "it" should be done.
We must also be mindful in experiencing success to direct the glory to Him whom honor and glory is due.
Secondly, we must "do" it with faithfulness (determination, loyalty, persistence, dependability).
We can't be flaky and inconsistent in what we should be "doing" and expect to experience success.
To reap the fruit of success, we must be dependable and committed to completing the project.

Thirdly, we must do it with our whole heart; with unconditional and enthusiastic devotion.
Not half-heartedly. Not with phoniness of heart.
But with a heart which fully embraces Proverbs 3:5- Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
This includes not attempting to determine the season we will experience success or the direction God
will send the end result.
We are reminded in 2 Chronicles 26:5- Uzziah sought God during the days of Zechariah, who taught him to fear God.
And as long as the king sought guidance from the LORD, God gave him success.

We must embrace Joshua 1:8-This Book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and
night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous,
and then thou shalt have good success.
Only then will it be noted of us as it was noted of Joseph in Genesis 39:3-Potiphar noticed this and realized that
the LORD was with Joseph, .
Believe it-Embrace it-Experience it!! Daddy-God desires that you experience success!

Hello Dr. Lewis- As the old Colored Spiritual goes: GUIDE MY TONGUE LORD WHILE I RUN THIS RACE I DON'T WANT TO RUN THIS RACE IN VAIN. I am glad that King David did not kill a sleep man. I bet he would have messed things up for Solomon. We must also watch our behavior as well -----as our tongue it could cause a person to falter could cost them everything-- I do mean everything!
