Greetings!
Lead Me, Guide Me! (1 of 5)
Should we do this or that----go here or there---- move forward or stop--- where should we live or work, etc.!!!?
There are so many decisions in life to make!
Lord, thank "You" that we can depend on "You" to Lead and Guide us!

As committed Christians we are concerned with "Your Will" for our lives!
We seek "Your Wisdom" and guidance to lead and direct us into all truth and righteousness!
Thank you Lord we don't have to wonder if You will lead us.
Our focus must be to surrender to "YOUR WILL"!
To trust You and your great plan for our lives!

Lead Me, Guide Me (2 of 5)
The lyrics of a hymn (Lead Me Guide Me) come to mind:
Chorus- Lead me, guide me along the way, for if You lead me I
cannot stray. Lord let me walk each day with Thee.
Lead me, oh Lord lead me. I am lost if You take Your hand from me,
I am blind without Thy light to see. Lord just always to me thy servant be,
Lead me, oh Lord lead me. Verse 1: I am weak and I need thy
strength and power to help me over my weakest hour. Lead me through
the darkness, thy face to see, lead me oh Lord, lead me. We also
find assurance in God's Word that He will guide our steps.

2 Chronicles 1:7-That night God appeared to Solomon and said, "What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!"
V8-Solomon replied to God, "You showed faithful love to David, my father, and now you have made me king in his place.
V9...for You have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth!
V10-Give me the wisdom and knowledge to lead them properly, for who could possibly govern this great people of yours?"
|
"Lead Me, Guide Me" (3 of 5)
V11-God said to Solomon, "Because your greatest desire is to help your
people, and you did not ask for wealth, riches, fame, or even
the death of your enemies, but rather you asked for wisdom and
knowledge to properly govern my people-
V12-I will certainly give you the wisdom and knowledge you
requested. But I will also give you wealth, riches, and fame such as no
other king has had before you or will ever have in the future!"

Bible Scholar Guzik comments: "It was because his heart was surrendered to God.
We are also told: Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (John 15:7)
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14).
Scholar Selman comments, "The problem for many Christians, then, is not whether they will receive anything when they ask, but whether they will ask at all."
|
"Lead Me, Guide Me" (4 of 5)
Jeremiah 33:3-KJ- Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
How will we know God's leading?
Scholar McAllister reflects: "The Bible will help us to know God's will. "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105).
"If any of you lack wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).
God has given us the Holy Spirit for guidance. "...when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth..." (John 16:13a).
We should listen to the advice of godly men and women that God has placed in our lives.

Many times the advice of a parent, pastor, minister, Sunday School teacher or other mature person is just what we need to help us decide what God wants us to do.
The Bible says that there is a peace that comes when we are pleasing God with our lives.
When deciding between two alternatives that you have been praying about, sometimes one of the options will give you a greater peace.
That option is probably God's will.

Lead Me, Guide Me! (5 of 5)
We should trust God in faith that He will accomplish His will in our lives.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding; in all ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths
straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you
will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6).
God has given each of us gifts and abilities to use in His service.
God always equips us to do what He calls us to do.
If you aren't gifted in a certain area, God is probably not calling you to minister in that area.

Remember that God's ultimate purpose for all of us is that He would be
glorified (1 Corinthians 10:31) and that the Gospel and
God's kingdom would be advanced (Genesis 50:20 and Philippians 1:12).
Therefore, let us not make decisions in life strictly on our own, as though we
have all of the answers!
Let us tap into the powerful resource which Daddy-
God offers to us; to partner with Him for the best experiences for our life.

Beautiful Message! Elder C P
Dear Pastor Ma --Thank you so much for all the messages and was wondering if you would spare a moment in your busy schedule to prepare an exhortation for our Leaders and Pastors here. We would also like to invite you sometime this year or early this year for a major conference if that's permissible from your Ministry and family. Yours in Christ Jesus. Pastor C M
THANK U DR-- W S
Hello Dr. Lewis:
How are you? It has been a while. Thank you for your messages. Is it not amazing how God works? Yes, it is really amazing. I have been going through some storms myself lately. It seems as if the more God promotes me, the more the devil is trying to pull me back. But you know, the devil does not know that I am one of those very stubborn Christians who do not give in to anyone else other than Almighty God, through His Son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. So your message is very appropriate at this time for me. I still do not know how you always manage to give nuggets for my situations. I will continue to believe that God just gives you a message specifically for me. God bless you for that Dr. Lewis. Dr. Lewis, I am going to "borrow" this theme, not the message but the theme. Well, thank you. It was nice to take a little break and "smell" some Bible verses. God bless you, woman of God. Keep up the great work. God is watching. Trust me, He knows, and He sees your labor!!!
