Lord Deliver Me From "These Cups"! (1 of 5)
We must ALWAYS BE ON GUARD against Satan's desire to accomplish
John 10:10a in our lives--The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
Just as we continuously breathe air to maintain life; Satan continuously seeks to complete his mission against
our lives and especially those of us who have embraced Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
This is why each of us must DAILY seek to fulfill
Galatians 5:16-[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
We must literally Carry Out the command written in: 1 Peter 5:8 NLT-Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil.
He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
We must "Stay Alert" to our "Hot Button Areas" and enticements that distract and disarm us from watching out
for our great enemy, the devil.

Lord Deliver Me From "These Cups"! (2 of 5)
For some people, their "Hot Buttons" might be to lie, cheat, be quick to lash out with unmerciful words and attitudes, or
the willingness to "fight" for one's beliefs and against the UNREVEALED PLAN of God for their life.
For others, it may be the love of money, lustful sexual drives, jealously and certainly ANY AND ALL THINGS WHICH
PREVENTS US FROM GLORIFYING GOD IN OUR VERY BEING!
Recently, in the midnight hour as I slept restlessly and awakened my spirit cried out "LORD DELIVER ME FROM THESE CUPS"!
My passion and strong desire to handle a personal "Cups" issue in my life differently than what the
"Powers Which Be" had decided, was what fueled MY outburst of frustration!
It was also the realization that we cannot afford to sweat the small stuff in life and give Satan the advantage through that avenue to accomplish his mission against us.

We must stay alert and watchful of our great enemy!
Perhaps you may think you do not have an issue of "Cups" in your life, but we all do especially after "The Spirit of God" further
defined and elaborated on "Cups" in our lives.
Cups can be defined as "Complaining, Unproductive Thoughts and Actions, Pride-Driven" which all stems
from "Satan's Vices" (tricks, wiles, attacks) against us!
What are your "Hot Buttons" that quickly produce a spirit of complaining in your life?
These may include areas of lack, not understanding God's plan in your life, having to exercise faith and trust, etc.
WHENEVER WE COMPLAIN, we must examine the source of what or who is causing that area of frustration in our lives and then go after the source- Satan.
Unproductive Thoughts and Actions definitely are part of Satan's tools against us!
Each moment that our Great God gives us affords us opportunity to be a blessing or to be blessed!

Instead of thinking counterproductive thoughts which leads to counterproductive actions, we must focus our thoughts on
Philippians 4:8 NLT- And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
By so doing, we will keep our thoughts and actions elevated toward the "Throne of God" which will keep us in the "Glory of God"!
Pride keeps us from acknowledging and seeking deliverance and victory over those "Hot Button Areas" in our lives.
Pride keeps us from letting go of fights over matters that really are not crucial for our lives, salvation or well-being.
Satan's Tricks comes to ensnare and to prevent us from glorifying God in our lives.
We must be alert to his deception through other people's words or actions against us and his vices which spring from within our own emotional or physical being.

The technique he uses to trigger and ill behavior on our part destroys our testimonies as people who
love the Lord and who are growing in His power and grace.
Therefore, each of us should be screaming out "LORD DELIVER ME FROM THESE CUPS" ("Complaining, Unproductive Thoughts and Actions and Pride" which all stem from "Satan's Vices".)
Let's choose to glorify our Great God!
Let's choose to rightfully represent Him to the world!
Let's choose NOT to place ourselves in situations that cast doubt on OUR TESTIMONY as Christians!
Let's choose to remember we don't have to be driven by complaining and defending ourselves for
we are told in Romans 12:19 NLT- Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, "I will take revenge; I will pay them back,"* says the LORD.

Tip for the day
A good way to protect the 3 digit code on the back of your credit cards and also your signature:
When you get the credit card, sign your name and then put a strip of scotch tape over it. Also, put scotch tape over the 3 digit code.
This will protect both from fading away because of scratching on other cards, and/or ware and tare over time.

Because we really do forget what the Lord God is doing or has done for us as you said even though we don't think we will.
