F A M I L Y ( 1 of 5)
Why is there such an attack from hell on the family unit?
Why are family members at odds with one another and just can't "all get along"?
Why are families not loving, forgiving and there for one another?
The main reason is because God has instituted "FAMILY" for our good AND Satan has attacked it and is attempting to destroy the blessings attached with God's plan for the "FAMILY"!
God first instituted the family unit through Adam and Eve and later children were added to this union.
Among the reasons God ordained the family unit was for us to"FORM AND MAINTAIN INTIMATE LOVING YOKES"!
TO FORM (make or produce), which communicates the idea of uniting others to ourselves to provide nurturing, loving, safe and protected environments so that we might experience relationships on earth as they are in Heaven.
Also to be encouraged and launched into fulfilling the purpose God has ordained for our lives.

F A M I L Y (2 of 5)
Ecclesiastes 4:12-NLT- A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. 
Unfortunately in this day the selfish mentality of self-centeredness, of only being concerned about one's own self, has taken precedence over forming ourselves with others to form a family unit.
Marriage is becoming obsolete and being replaced with the act of just moving in and living together, playing house without fulfilling the spiritual and moral responsibilities of such a union.

F A M I L Y (3 or 5)
Unfortunately, this mentality is not just embraced by non-Christians but also by many Christians.
For the healthy survival of the Christian family and its ability to demonstrate the standard of holiness, obedience and oneness to our offspring and to the world;
we must return to the concept of family which God ordained.
Then we will experience the blessing which God places in our families as mentioned in 1 Chronicles 13:14-
And the Ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.
Because the constant "Presence of God" is available through us having a personal family relationship with God, we can experience the ongoing blessing of God in our families.

F A M I L Y (4 or 5)
We are told to MAINTAIN the family unit which we have formed or are a part of by birth.
To MAINTAIN means to keep in existence or continuance; preserve; retain and to keep in an appropriate condition.
To do so, we must display in our families, Galatians
5:22- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
v.23 NLT-gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Also, 1st Corinthians 13:4- Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud
v5- or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
V6- It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
V7- Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

F A M I L Y (5 of 5)
By so forming and maintaining our family units on these pillars; we will automatically experience INTIMATE (very private and close personal relations characterized by warm partnerships) with our family members. LOVING relationships will automatically be established and strengthened as we follow God's biblical directives. 
We will be able to YOKE (to join, couple, link, or unite) ourselves together as a strong, nurturing, safe and protected family.
Are there family members you need to forgive or to ask forgiveness?
Have you been consumed with self-centeredness and only desired to be concerned about yourself?
Are there people God is speaking to your heart to develop relationships with them.
Then do so!
Do whatever you need to healthily "FORM AND MAINTAIN INTIMATE LOVING YOKES"!
