Greetings!
Why God Why? (1 of 5)
Life is filled with the asking and answering of questions!
Sometimes very proper and appropriate questions are asked, while other times one wonders how people think that their question is
appropriate and THEN form their lips to ask such a question!
Answers to certain questions is automatically no, while to other questions the response should be an un-hesitant yes!
We also question our Great, Loving and Faithful God, with such questions as;
"Why was I born?",
"Why wasn't I born with "gifts and talents" which seem to be "better" than the ones I received?"
"Why must I experience pain, tears, trials and tribulations?"
"Why can't I be like "them"?"

We ask questions that DEFINITELY imply that we DON'T AGREE WITH GOD ABOUT HIS DECISIONS CONCERNING OUR LIVES!
God does not mind us asking Him questions; however as it is with our natural parents, we must be mindful of how we question HIM, careful to be humble and reverent!
God longs to fellowship with us, to commune with us, to walk and talk to us as illustrated in
Genesis 3:8-And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
V.9- And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou?

Why God Why? (3 of 5)
OUR LIVES WILL BE HAPPIER, WE WILL HAVE LESS QUESTIONS about our lives and we will
Rest in peace THE SOONER WE ACCEPT AND EMBRACE the truth THAT GOD LOVES US AND HAS A RIGHTEOUS PLAN FOR OUR INDIVIDUAL LIVES!
God poses some questions to us in
Isaiah 45:9- NLT-"What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, 'Stop, you're doing it wrong?' Does the pot exclaim, 'How clumsy can you be?'
Recognizing that God is the Creator of all things; should make us hesitant to oppose Him (do battle or be in conflict with Him) in any way!
It is inappropriate for the clay to say to him who forms it, "What are you making?"

Isaiah 45:10- NLT-How terrible it would be if a newborn baby said to its father, 'Why was I born?' or if it said to its mother, 'Why did you make me this way?'"
v. 11- NLT-This is what the LORD says- the Holy One of Israel and your Creator: "Do you question what I do for my children? Do you give me orders about the work of my hands?
We simply need to trust that God is in charge and has an awesome plan for our lives! We simply need to embrace and mediate on:
Isaiah 43:2- New Living Transaction-When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not burned up; the flames will not consume you.

Why God Why? (5 of 5)
When we are challenged with questions about our lives, let us remember what Jesus said in
Matthew 11:28-29 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Also John 14:27 "I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid.
God not only oversaw our birth but continues to oversee our existence and guides everything concerning our lives!
Psalm 5:11-But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread Your protection over them, that all who love Your name may be filled with joy.
Let us recommit to trust God and to replace our questions with trust and praise.

Hey Dr. Lewis, What a Word for the day, such a blessing it makes me think! You know if the Father was to give you a blank check your mind would go all over the place, but we need to stop and think real hard about that answer we would give. You are also right we do not need to be self centered, and in this day and age that is where most people go, but if we stop and look at what is really going on in this world today maybe would make the right answer to this the Bible is coming to pass and we need to be doing what the Word says! God is soooooooo good to us and we need to think of others and not ourselves so much. I can say I hope I would make the right answer! Love you lot's! V L

Hello and Good Morning Dr. Lewis: Thank you so much for yet another food for thought. So my special gift that I asked God to give me is the gift of discernment. And you know what Dr. Lewis, I believe that I have truly received it. I asked God to give me that gift because I want to be able to answer people's questions relating to the heart of God. I want direct answers from God Himself, not through the Bible, but direct from Him, certainly through His Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. I wanted that gift so I could teach and share with Christians and non-Christians alike, why God does what He does, how and why He thinks the way that He thinks. I am very passionate and ambitious when it comes to things pertaining to the kingdom of God. To God be the glory, always!!! Dear woman of God, it always happens.
