Daily, Celebrate!!!

  Volume 141                    September 11, 2011

  Greetings!

Daily, Celebrate! (1 of 5)

There are certain days that have been set aside for national recognition of special occasions: These include Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, New Years, Independence Day, etc.

Among the reasons we have done so is to remind us to stop, recognize, and to celebrate their various meanings.

 cake happy holiday

Therefore, we look forward to "the day" or season of celebration so that we can "spend time with family and friends, give and receive gifts, enjoy good food, rest, celebrate the special occasion, etc".

However, as Believers in Christ we have the privilege through our "Abundant Life Benefit" to celebrate these special days each day!

 Daily, Celebrate!  (2 of 5)

We can "Daily Celebrate" the blessed assurance of:

having God here on earth with us which the message of Christ's birth communicates during our celebration of Christmas!

We can "Daily Celebrate" Christ's resurrection as we do during Easter and be reminded that we can also be resurrected from any dead situations in our lives!

                            holiday emblems

Certainly daily, we should be thankful for every single second God sits on His Great throne; for then we have the blessed assurance that He is watching over our lives!

Daily celebrating New Years reminds us that each day provides new opportunities to "Be a Blessing" and to "Be Blessed"!

Excitement for our spiritual freedom and independence from the power of Satan should be proclaimed daily as we celebrate with fireworks in July!

The over-whelming presence of God in our lives, His love for and faithfulness to us enables us to experience joy, laughter, fellowship, freedom and

a spirit of thanksgiving from bondage and  no matter what is going on in our lives!

 Daily, Celebrate!   (3 of 5)

However, to do so, we must embrace the Word of the Lord in our hearts, believe and submit to it, recognize the opportunities of celebration and

thanksgiving even in the midst of the stormy and difficult times of our lives!

trial and tribulation stormy times

In all likelihood, many of us will admit that our lives have fallen short of the hope and expectations planned as we entered into adulthood.

We believed the white picket fence and "living happily ever after" were automatic experiences of life.

Daily, Celebrate! (4 of 5)

However, we have since learned after having experienced trials and tribulations, heartaches and disappointments in life that was not the case!

Nevertheless, as Children of God, we have found with His help and following the Word of God that it is possible to still have reasons to "Daily Celebrate" life!

Jesus embracing man

Our encouragement to celebrate depends on where our attention is focused!

To exercise the ability to "Daily Celebrate", we must keep our hearts set on the "Promises, love and faithfulness of God our Great God", and

not "just" focus on the "Challenges of Life"!

In order to have a sane mind in the midst of this "chaotic" and sinful world, we must definitely keep looking to Jesus and He will definitely show US the way!

people praising

Subsequently, that will keep us from asking as stated in Psalm 13:2 NLT- How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand?

Also by so doing, we will with confidence and boldness be able to address the concern of

Psalms 42:10 NLT- [As] with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where [is] thy God?

Our enemies will have their questions answered from witnessing the joy and assurance in our lives as we  "Daily Celebrate" God in our lives!

                             BLESSINGS AND LOVE~

President Obama 1

President Obama

If you didn't see the President's speech, you should take the time to watch the entire thing.

We saw a leader with a clear plan to get Americans back to work -- and ready to fight to make it happen.

It's the kind of speech you watch and think, "I'm so proud this guy's our President."

Watch the speech and let President Obama know you're ready to fight alongside him to get the job done:

On Wednesday September 8, 2011, I met with Amy Halley Hill, Senior Director , Community Affairs, Public Affairs & Gaovernment Relations, to discuss the Walmart's role in the City of Los  Angeles specifically in the 8th District.

Ms. Hill discussed the company's goal of providing grocery services to undeserved communities or areas that have been described as "food deserts" .  Their company has changed its format by offering a variety of  food store footprints from 15 to 20 thousand square foot storefronts or mid-range 40 to 50 thousand square foot community grocery store to 100 thousand square foot + super stores.

They also have moved away from constructing  new stores  to remodeling existing storefronts or vacant commerical buildings.

Finally, Walmart has restructured their organization  to assign more local management personnel  so that they can be more responsive to the local community needs and support of local community programs.

The Walmart story of quality products & services, local hiring and low priced goods has made a significant difference in both  inter-city and suburban communities. In the near future I along with several other community groups will be making a concerted effort to welcome, embrace and encourage Walmart to become a visible  cornerstone in this community.

Hello and Good Day Dr. Lewis, I am very thankful for the messages you send.  I want to acknowledge it for the first time that I deeply feel honored especially when you personalize a portion of your message and address me personally.  I feel so great. It seems as though I am the only human being in the world.

And I know it takes a bit of work to make that possible.  I am deeply honored by your generosity and kindness toward me. My favorite part of your message today is: "We MUST study and learn just how precious and beloved we are to God even when other people don't value us."That, right there, has always been the story of my life.  I am constantly trying to improve myself.  I think very highly of myself since I discovered the Word of God that says that I am wonderfully and fearfully made. At the same time that I discovered that God says that I have value, Dr. Lewis, you will not believe those in my family who think that I am nothing.  You see, they say I am nothing.  They said so.  You get it!  I did not say so.  I will never say that about myself.I am a child of the Most High God; you are a child of the Most High God; every true Christian is a child of the Most High God!!!

No question!  No doubt!!  Case closed!!!This message is another one of my personal favorites.  Do you mind Dr. Lewis if I borrowed it to teach at Sunday school?  They need to know this.  Thank you again.  May Almighty papa God, continue to bless you holy woman of God. Be assured that, You are blessed and highly favored!!!  C K

Thank you so much for "Let's Do It", because I have been battling with starting things and not completing them. I now know that if I take one step at a time then will I be able to accomplish my goals. B O

Thank you Sister Tonya.  I appreciate all of the wonderful e-mails that you send.  Bless God for your faithfulness. Keep up the good work! O B

Thanks for such encouraging email and I do plan to wait until my change comes no matter how bleak this thing look. I am in for the long haul!!
