Greetings
A Personal Relationship!! (1 of 5)
Where would we be today, spiritually, emotionally or physically if we had not accepted the life-changing invitation of a "Personal Relationship" with JESUS CHRIST, GOD'S BELOVED SON!!!
Being in a "Personal Relationship" with the Lord provides a "Haven" (refuge, shelter, place of safety) for whatever storms we experience in life!
Being in a "Personal Relationship" with the Lord allows us to develop our faith and assurance that EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT, NO MATTER WHAT!!
Being in a "Personal Relationship" with the Lord means that we learn that HE WILL supply our every need and also give us the desires of our heart!
For as our relationship with Him develops and grows; our hearts are changed by His Word to think and desire as He would have us!

Thank God for Kirk Whalum who expressed it best in his song; "Falling in Love with Jesus" is TRULY the best thing we've EVER DONE!!
In His arms we can feel protected! As we continue daily to develop our relationship with the Lord, we find "There is no place we'd rather be"!!!
We learn individually that we are very special to the Lord!
Also, that we can depend on His Great Love for us! Each of us can testify that we have been through some very horrendous experiences!
However, because of our faith and "Personal Relationship" with the Lord Jesus, we did not lose our minds and survived those times which could have destroyed our very being!!
BUT GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST KEPT US ROOTED and GROUNDED in the assurance of His Faithfulness and Love! Thank you Jesus!!!

A Personal Relationship!! ( 3 pf 5)
Of course, having a "Personal Relationship" with the Lord is QUITE different from a couple of hours a week- "Church Relationship" with Him.
This includes not submitting one's life to Jesus' Lordship over their lives and not attempting to please the Lord until the "NEXT TIME" one goes to church, whenever that may be!
A "Personal Relationship" with the Lord is one where we have confessed Romans 10:9-That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
V. 10 NLT- For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Then we can live our lives as described in
v. 11- For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." NLT- ... "Anyone who trusts in Him will never be disgraced."

A Personal Relationship!! (4 of 5)
Scholar Guzik explains-"God's righteousness is not gained by works (as Paul made plain in Romans 10:4-8).
Instead, we gain it by confessing and believing in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Confession has the idea of agreeing with.
When we confess . . . the Lord Jesus, we agree with what God said about Jesus, and with what Jesus said about Himself.
It means we recognize that Jesus is God, that He is the Messiah, and that His work on the cross is the only way of salvation for mankind."
Scholar Clarke adds regarding "Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed-
He shall neither be disappointed of his hope, nor ashamed of his confidence; because he has that faith which is the evidence of things not seen, the subsistence of things hoped for, Hebrews 11:1."

So instead of whining and begging God for "things",
seek as diligently to explore through His WORD ALL OF THE WONDERFUL BENEFITS which comes with one having a "Personal Relationship" with the Lord Jesus!

This is the most recent ribbon cutting as earlier this year the community celebrated the opening of the new sit-down restaurant "Buffalo Wild Wings" with pending openings of the new shopping center food court, Staple Store, Post & Beam Restaurant and the reconstruction of the King Bl bridge will bring the shopping center to a level of great community pride.
