"What Is Your Message?" ( 1 of 6)
We cannot imagine the magnitude or impact that our lives, actions and words may have on other people's lives or the number of people who will be influenced!
Such is the case of Mr. Lorrin Lee.
He has penned some great quotes and we will reflect on several of them in this article.
The key quote for our reflection is: "Your life is your message to the world. Make it inspiring and memorable." (Lorrin L. Lee)
Let us dissect the powerful nuggets encased in this quote. Your life: We painfully learn that we can only govern our own lives and that each person has choices of what they will do in their life. No matter how we might want to govern someone else's life, we can't! This is true in the lives of our adult children, grandchildren, spouses, and actually includes so many others. One's environment, upbringing and associations are a few of the elements that will affect our decisions.

Another powerful quote by Mr. Lee is: "Choose your FRIENDS wisely...because they can enhance YOUR LIFE by what they Be, DO, and HAVE" is certainly true and note-worthy for us to embrace.
Sometime to justify our unhealthy choices we use as a crutch; a dysfunctional childhood, lack of opportunities; how we are being "treated", etc. as defenses of why we might not be doing what we should be doing.  However, the sooner we understand that our lives should be positive influences in the lives of others; the quicker we will become more intense in making God-inspired choices. While we can't govern other people's lives, we learn that we are responsible for the choices in our lives! We will have to give an account to God, our Great God, for our individual choices.

"What Is Your Message?" (3 of 6)
The second part of our key quote indicates, "Your life is your message to the world".
We are reminded in Proverbs 3:1- My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart.
V. 2- If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying.
V.3- Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart.
V. 4- Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.
Therefore, it is important that we strive to develop a good reputation.
The question must be asked of each of us; what message is being generated through your life about yourself, your belief of God, your moral and spiritual standards? Is your message one of love and compassion or of hatefulness and jealousy? Is the goodness and faithfulness of God our Father and His Son Jesus Christ being promoted through your life or are they being rejected by others because of the hypocritical actions and words they are witnessing through your life? Our daily decisions answer that question.

No matter which persons we esteem as being great or influential; all of us begin at the same starting line;
with the opportunity to positively impact or to negatively scar others.
Mr. Lee writes: "Never compare yourself with others. Do the best you can with what you have from where you are...and be TRUE to yourself."
Our key quote did not imply one's money, fame, material gain, clothes, degree of friends, etc is one's message to the world,
but how we live our lives.
If we would invest as much time and attention into developing the character of our lives as we do in things which really don't matter;
God would truly get the glory and others would be tremendously blessed by our lives.
The last part of our key quote is; "Make it inspiring and memorable."
Memorable is defined as worth remembering; easily remembered, noteworthy, impressive and celebrated.
This is possible because we have been given the freedom of choice and all of the necessary tools from God our Father to develop a memorable message of our lives.

What constitutes one's life being a memorable message?
This question can be answered by citing some additional quotes by Mr. Lee.
Realize that "People don't care what you do or say UNTIL they feel that YOU care about them."
"Read about and associate with people you respect and admire...and you will become like them."
Understand "The WORST of Times is a Stepping Stone to the BEST of Times."
"Give a gift daily to as many people as possible with no expectation of return. The act of Giving is the REWARD."
"Do what you do so well that even if you weren't paid to do it, eventually others will want to pay you to do it."
"Do what you do so well that others will tell their friends about you ...and your fame will grow automatically."
"Be so good at what you do that you ATTRACT the people you want to connect with."

Words of Love!
Praise the Lord Dr. Lewis, you're truly a woman of God, I was just reading and studying on the word submission on yesterday, not that I am having a hard time submitting myself unto God, this word just kept coming up in my spirit. I found this word in my daily devotion booklet on May 20th, then I open your newsletter, there's the word again submission. I prayed to God, "God am I having a hard time submitting to you," The Lord just quietly let me know, "there are a lot of people who are having a hard time submitting to Him, and to His beckoning call." He informed me to stay as an example of what a submitted person to God should be. Dr. Lewis, I must say, God knows how to bring affirmation to His delightful Word and you showed it this weekend. Hello Dr. Lewis, the bottom of the morning to you: I am indeed trying to live all I should be LIVING to please GOD. Pray my strength in the LORD that I will be able to stand. When your neighbors play spiritual music--you can rest assured that it is awful LATE and it is time to really please God. My heart was saddened to say good-bye for now to Oprah. Those final shows were awesome THE FIGHT WAS FIXED. Kindness will find justice and justice will find kindness it just takes 30 years-Hole in the (Head). Enjoyed once again the excerpts on marriage. Hope you had a wonderful week and a nice weekend! I want to share w/you what's been going on these past couple of weeks. Lord knows I'm trying to get closer to him....but I'm falling apart. I know it's just the devil throwing dirt in my eyes to cause distraction. Since I've lost my mother I've been really going through some tough times...... I am" I'm just tired of being like this sad, and lonely....I know I'm grieving, but I don't like these feelings I'm having....I know God is the only way to heal my pain.....He's on my mind constantly.
